Welcome Kori

This past weekend I finally got in some much-needed scrappy time.  A couple friends and I went for a stay at Treeholm Studio.  Diane was a wonderful hostess!!  It was a fabulous weekend of fun, friends and lots of scrapping!!!

Here is just one of the layouts I created.  The title was created with the Cricut - that was a new experience for me!  Diane had one available for use and I had a little bit of a play.

Disney On Ice (MFTSCRAP3)

I finally sat down at my scrap table today and created a couple of layouts!  It feels like it has been forever!!  It felt good!

What I learned from this scrap session is that there are a HUGE amount of die-namics on my wish list!!  MFT has so many products that are awesome for using on layouts!!

Design Team Monday at the Turtle!

It is Monday and that means a new reveal for Scrapping Turtle.  It is also the first Monday of a new month so that means a new batch of goodies to play with.  This month I am playing with the super adorable Bella Blvd line - Christmas Wishes! 

The first week is always about the Product of the Month at the Turtle.  This month we are highlighting the fantastic On Display Embellish Me frames from Fancy Pants Designs.  I love them!!

Here are my projects......

The first one I did uses my kit for this month and shows you that you don't have to stick to the intended theme of collections. This Christmas collection worked perfectly for this project as long as I was choosy about which patterns I used!

Product Highlight - Maya Mists

This month the Product Highlight at Scrapping Turtle are the fabulous Maya Mists. I had never used these before so it was kind of fun to play. I love that you can customize your projects with them so I am sure I will be using them more often!! :)

Here is the layout I created using the Pink Mist. I sprayed it on the flowers and the KaiserCraft wood flourish to custom match my embellies to my project! Love the look!
