So Lucky!

Hello Everyone,

For today I will be playing along with Sparkle and Shine Challenge, The Card Concept and Freshly Made Sketches blogs. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

The sentiment was cut using a cutting machine
and the 'L' was die cut with a Big Shot.

I really like the strip of green with gold dots.
It shows off the sketch nicely.

This simple sentiment can be an anytime card. However,
the four leaf clover may be a giveaway for St. Patrick's Day.

This happens to be the second time I made this card.. The first one was one disaster after another. So I managed to find a bit of time today to recreate the design. People always say it is faster the second time around and they were right!! I am lucky to be granted the time to redo this card because I really kind of like it..

Birthday Billboard

Hello All!

For today I am playing with City Crafters Challenge Blog, Freshly Made Sketches, and Sparkle & Shine Challenge.

To lighten up the card I left some of the borders on the chevs white.

The card reminds me of a billboard. 

Using my negative space I added a bit of glitter in assorted colors.

This card reminds me of a birthday billboard.. Celebrating for all to see! I wonder if chevrons will ever go out of style. I don't think so because it is so classic and can be applied to so many applications, from fashion to.... well.... cards! It is so dark and gloomy today that I felt like using glitter in my negative space. It fills the card with color and sparkle.

That should do it for me.. Have to go and pick up my kiddo's from school.. Hopefully they had a good day.. Thank you so much for stopping by and spending time with me. I really do appreciate it.

Upon seeing this photo I thought of love. Of course I did! Love is in the air this time of year. I really enjoy receiving happy mail; in fact I don't anyone who doesn't. What is not LOVE when getting happy mail. So I am going to make someone's day and send this off.
