Simbol Design designed the Lavazza GTX supercar using their 30 year road and racing automotive experience. On the road since May of 2006, and after about 30.000 kms of tests, Simbol reached speeds of about 320 kms/h with excellent stability and braking in every condition.
This result, combined with the overwhelming interest achieved throughout the world, has led to development of the GTX with modified design and improved performance.
It will be equipped with a V12 6.0 cc. Engine achieves 100 hp/litre (this permits a perfect connection between power and reliability) and a speed of 360 kms/h. reaching 620 hp.
Chassis is made with special steel and the body is made with carbon kevlar for greater safety in case of crash (not sprinter as it happens with carbon fibre).
The new brake system and the studied aerodynamics with a coefficient cx 0,19 and variable geometry ensures perfect performances and safety at high speeds.
Electro gearbox with direct grafting without pre-selection ensures a fast and accurate gear insertion. Simbol used a new gearbox with only four gears, in order to reach maximum speed as fast as possible along with faster stopping time.
Simbol offers different engines and fittings according to costumer’s choise, and are also available in rolling chassis in countries where the car is not approved.
As requested by some American devotees, Simbol can install custom engines from their own motor-mechanics, the GTX-R is designed to support up to 1000 hp.
The car will be available in the spring of 2009 in limited production, in order to ensure axclusivity and a secure investment for the buyers.
