Good morning everyone!! Today's Rubbernecker Blogger's Challenge, brought to us by Shelly Kuck, is to use glitter and sparkle in honor of the upcoming holiday season. Don't ya just love glitter...especially when it gets all over everything!!! We went to see my parents for a few minutes last night and after I hugged my Mom, she was all sparklie, too!!! Anyway.....
I used this sweet little snowgirl called Ms. Mann by Rubbernecker, stamped her with Memento Black, colored with copics, used a glue pen around the edges of the body, gloves, and hat, and dusted it with Dazzling Diamonds. The edge of the sentiment layers was sponges with Bashful Blue and covered with Dazzling Diamonds, too. A Martha Stewart punch was used for the border and the snowflakes, buttons, ribbon and cording finish it off.

Our Design Team, as always, will delight you with their creations. Be sure to visit their blogs to see all their sparkle and glitz!

I bought the red felt snowflake at Hobby Lobby the other day......it was layered with the MS punched ferns and the ribbon from Pinkhedge Hog Paper Craft. The gold cording was run through the holes of the button and attached with a glue dot to the felt snowflake.

Belli Challenge #43 to Use Cording
The Belli Challenge was created by Chris (Chrissyd723) to inspire us to use the *stuff* lying around our stamping spaces...those long forgotten goodies that we once had to have!!
Anyone can play, so get out your scraps, stamps, and embellies!! Check out Chris' blog for details on how to win the challenge!!

The Belli Challenge this week is to use cording on your card. I just love to use cording especially with ribbon...gives it such an elegant look!! I still have some Stampin Up! retired cording that I have been hoarding!! I stamped these adorable birds from Pink Poison with Memento Black and colored them with Copic Markers. They were then cutout and attached with dimensionals. Martha Stewart punched ferns were attached under the birds to act as pine boughs. The sentiment from Rubbernecker was stamped with Jet Black Archival Ink onto Blush Blosson cs, sponged with Cameo Coral, cutout with Nesties, and attached with dimensionals.

The gold cording was wrapped around my hand several times and them tied together in the middle. The ends were cut and flaired just a little.
The sheer coral ribbon from Hobby Lobby was first tied around the top layer and tied in a knot around the gold cording. The bow was then attached over the top of the knot with a glue dot. It looks sooo elegant but not very practical for mailing!! I will have to hand deliver this one!!
