Trick or Treat

Hello everyone!! Can you believe that September is half over and Halloween will be here before we know it!! I have lots of Grands to make halloween cards for so I better get started. 

This card features the Taylored Expressions Pockets and Pages 3x4 Circle Showcase die...it was used on Candy Corn cardstock and adhered to Oreo cardstock. The witch was cut with the TE Little Bits-Witch die and adhered to the white circle. The cute little ghosts were cut with the Little Bits-Ghosts dies and the bats were cut out of Poppy Seed cardstock with the Spooky Trees Accessories dies. 

To finish it off, the sentiment from the TE Critters in Costume Stamp Set was stamped on the TE Label It diecut and colored with orange Copics...I have had the background paper for years...I just love the tiny ghosts!!

Spooktacular Halloween!!

Hello everyone!!! We had a cold front come through last night (down in the 80's!!!) so I thought it was a perfect time to play with Halloween toys!!! I just love to make Halloween cards because they are sooo fun and my Grands love to find them in their mail box!! 

My card features the Taylored Expressions Spooky Tree Accessories dies (the wolf and the 2 bats on the moon)...they were cutout of Oreo cardstock as were the cute Little Bits - Halloween Scene dies (grave stones, pumpkin, spider, and the bat on the sentiment), and the Color Block Cutting Plate which was used for the framework. 

Build a Scene - Halloween 6x6 paper pack paper was used for the background and the *grass* which was cut out with the Build a Scene - Rolling Hills die.  The sentiment from the Big Bold Halloween set is the finishing touch.

Happy Halloween!!

Hello everyone!! Hope all is well with you!!! I have been filling out papers to join DAR..The Daughters of the American Revolution. I thought I had it all together but now I have to get a birth certificate for my grandmother, death certificates for my grandparents, their marriage certificate, and even a birth certificate for my ex husband....now that will be a tricky one...LOL!!! My cousin did all the hard work....she did all the research from our great grandparents back to our revolutionary ancestor and even to our Mayflower ancestor...pretty cool stuff!!  Anyway....

October is almost here and you know what that means...Halloween!!!! I love all the fun associated with Halloween....bats, ghosts, spiders...EEEEEK!!!

Both my cards today feature the Taylored Expressions dies called Gothic Window Accessories. The set includes a pumpkin,2 bats, a cat, and a crow...perfect for all your spooky needs!!

The sentiment from the Big Bold Halloween stamp set was stamped on the Choice Snow White cardstock and the washi tape was added underneath the sentiment. Then the spooky diecuts cut from Oreo and Candy Corncard stock were popped up with foam dots... Hocus Pocus Matching Sequins and twine finish it off.  

Along with the TE Gothic Window Accessories dies, I used the Lable Stacklets 5 dies for the layers and the TE Tangled Webs Embossing Folder on the background  Pumpkin card stock and patterned papers from the Hocus Pocus 6x6 paper pack. The sentiment from the Big Bold Halloween set was embossed with white ep on the Oreo card stock and matted with Granny Smith card stock.

The cat and bats were matted with Pumpkin card stock and the twine is the finishing touch.
