Paper Dahlia Wreath

 

It's pretty dang windy here in Idaho Falls, so I don't think this gorgeous wreath would stand up to the trials of our outside door, but I can definitely see this on our inside door. Love, Pomegranate House used such an easy technique and simple supplies for this beauty.

  I'm getting for some daffodils to bloom!   I would love it if they could bloom inside my house in a rustic planter like Make Life Lovely created.  The industrial hard ware and worn wood look great with fresh flowers.

 Want a great gift for a baby shower or for a new momma?   Try this interchangeable headband tutorial at Made It On Monday.   Make a couple sizes headbands and 10 flowers and you have a perfect present for a stylish baby!  I wish I would have done this when my daughter was a baby!  It would have saved a bunch of money.

Would the "boys" in your life allow you to decorate their bedroom with flowers if the petals were made from baseballs?   Not mine!  BUT, I really like the look of these baseball flowers and would love to find a way to put some in my house!   My Salvaged Treasures created these cuties!  Nice way to repurpose old balls!

Paper Peonies and Paper Hydrangeas

 Remember in the last post, how I said that Twigg Studios does incredible things with paper?   Well, both of these flowers are made with....paper.   The paper peonies are gorgeous!  They can't die and they are always in season.

These pretty hydrangeas are made of paper too!  Wow!   What a talent!!!  I'm not sure that hydrangeas grow where I live so this would be a great way to get some in my house!!!!  I love these paper hydrangeas.

  I've seen topiaries made out of real flowers and they are gorgeous, but...they die!   Suzy's Artsy Craftsy Sitcom created some beautiful topiaries made from paper quilled flowers that won't die!!!  Yeah!  Not to mention that you can get paper that matches the colors that you want.

Paper Roses (These are made of Maps!)

The winter has been so mild where I live and then today.... it snowed about 4-5 inches!  Not cool!   I guess it will take a few extra days for the flowers to come out now!   In the meantime, check out these paper roses that are so beautiful!  Twigg Studios made them from maps, but I bet you could make them from almost any type of paper - phone books, dictionaries, newspaper, scrapboook and more!

Rolled Spring Paper Flowers

Though our winter was very mild this year, I'm still ready for Spring to come.  The flowers haven't popped out of the ground yet, but I like what Inspired By Family Magazine created to have spring flowers in her home.  She rolled some pretty paper into a gorgeous arrangement of flowers!
