Blue Monday - 57th Anniversary!

This past Tuesday, July 7th, Johnny and I celebrated our 57th anniversary. (Remember, I was child bride!) We had flowers placed in our church the previous Sunday. Since it was a patriotic service, the flowers were red, white, and Blue. After church, we snapped these shots. You can see the bottom of the HUGE American flag that served as the backdrop for the orchestra and choir.

Coincidentally, on July 7, iHOP, a Blue restaurant, was celebrating their 57th birthday by offering a short stack of pancakes for 57¢. When I heard about this, we HAD to go! After all, this was a DOUBLE CELEBRATION!

The sign below states, "Happy Birthday to us. Happy Breakfast to you." (Bacon and drinks were extra of course.)

Wind and rain left my hair in a mess, so I'm not posting the picture of me taken by Johnny. (He's obviously blinded by love and doesn't see messy hair!) However, here's a picture of him, taken by me. Does this look like a guy who's been stuck for 57 years?
