We had a terrific Easter; I hope you did too. Our church held four services: two on Saturday and two on Sunday. Because we were having 13 family members for dinner, we went to the 6 o'clock service on Saturday. (Johnny sang in the choir for both Saturday services.)
Jane sent me these gorgeous flowers! Look how they totally match the favors we had at each plate! I was so tickled with this. And please notice Jane had the florist include Blue blooms as she knows it's my favorite color. You can see the Blue tablecloth and the Blue napkins. Later, we added Blue glasses.
Here's a close-up of the favors we had at each plate. This plastic egg/chick had three Reese's pieces inside. We got it from Walmart for only $1.00 each. Note the chick's eyes are Blue.
Our dessert is a long-standing family tradition. We got the egg cake from Publix and had it decorated with the flowers forming a cross . . .
and the words, "He Is Risen." Of course, you noticed the words are in Blue.
