Isaiah 57 (KJV)

1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite (remorseful) and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite (repentant) ones.
16 For I will not contend (cope with this) for ever, neither will I be always wroth (angry): for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

Peace / Psalm 34 (KJV)

1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken (listen) unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile (craftiness).

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite (remorseful, repentant) spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate ( (of a place) deserted of people and in a state of bleak and dismal emptiness).
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate (deserted).

Proverbs 4 (KJV)
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence (carefulness) ; for out of it are the issues of life.

Psalm 25 (KJV)
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.

Psalm 34 (KJV)

Psalm 38 (KJV)
8 I am feeble (weak) and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness (nervousness) of my heart.
9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning (cries) is not hid from thee.
10 My heart panteth (throbs), my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof (unconcerned) from my sore; and my kinsmen (relatives) stand afar off.

Psalm 61 (KJV)
1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth (amusement) is heaviness.

Proverbs 15 (KJV)
13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance (demeanor): but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Proverbs 17 (KJV)
22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Proverbs 23 (KJV)
26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS!!!

1 John 4 (KJV)

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

If you fear in love, it's not love. Perfect love does not torment it protects. It calms, assures, eases and comforts. ~ Karmen

Psalm 51 (KJV)

1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity (wickedness) and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity (wickedness); and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities (wickedness).

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite (repentant and remorseful)  heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Psalm 34 (KJV)

4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile (clever or crafty character or behavior) .

18 The Lord is nigh (near) unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite (repentant) spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate (deserted).
