Thanks for Everything

Today I have a clean and simple fall themed card using the new Fall Foliage stamp set from My Favorite Things.

The layout is thanks to the fun sketch #3 over at Seize the Sketch and the fall theme is PP161 at the Paper Players.

I started with a card base of Kraft and built the card right on the base. I stamped the sentiment from Fall Foliage with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink then heat embossed it with white powder. Next I stamped the leaf elements with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. Then I cut two strips of Orange Fizz and Tangy Orange card stock and adhered them below the sentiment.

The card needed a little something though so I used the Fall Foliage Die-namics to cut out the acorn from Natural card stock then I stamped the coordinating image with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink. I tied a small Hemp Cord bow and mounted the acorn on foam tape.

MFTeaser - Sweet Friend

Welcome to day two of seven fabulous days of MFT teasers!

I have a sweet friend card today that I created using the new Tropical Sensations stamp set and Tropical Sensations Die-namics from the Mona Pendleton Designs line. All the new products will be available in the MFT Boutique on July 9th at 10pm EDT. Hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers and for the amazing prize info!

I started with a card base of Primitive Cream then added a layer of Hot Fudge. I used the gorgeous new Modern Morocco Die-namics to cut out the Kraft background layer, and placed it on some Sno Cone for a pop of light blue. I love this look!!!! I played along with the Paper Players 152 tic tac toe challenge of using blue, bling, and friendship.

That gorgeous flower and leaves were cut out using the Tropical Sensation Die-namics. I stamped the flower from Tropical Sensations using Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink and added the center detail with new Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink. The leaves were stamped with Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink onto the Sour Apple cut outs.

I stamped the sentiment with Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink then added a row of clear rhinestones, which I coloured with my YR18 copic marker. I added definition to the sentiment strip by backing it with Tangy Orange. I used the Open Simply Scallops Trio Die-namics to cut out the Tangy Orange scallop and layered it onto the Orange Fizz scallop which I cut out using the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics. LOVE that they layer perfectly!!!

On the inside I stamped another flower and sentiment from Tropical Sensations.

Cheers

Happy New Year!!!

I have a fun new years card to share, and a little secret that you'll have to hop over to the MFT blog to find out. What could it be...hmmm...maybe one new design team member, or two?!?

I used Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings from My Favorite Things for today's card, paired with star patterned paper from the October Afternoon Midway collection.

I started with a base of Whip Cream card stock then added a layer of Steel Grey and Razzle Berry cardstock. I used the Solid Bracket Border Die-namics to cut out two Whip Cream strips then stitched them to to the star paper. I used the Medium Fancy Flourish Die-namics to cut out the Pink Lemonade cardstock and coated it with Star Dust Stickles. The Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics was perfect for the sentiment, and once I'd stamped it onto the flag, I ran it through my vagabond again to create the fishtail at the other end. The card needed a little accent so I used the Stacking Stars Die-namics to cut out the Razzle Berry stars and coated them with Star Dust Stickles for even more shimmer.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings. The layout on the front is PP123.

Here are the supplies I used.
