Fabulous Fall Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions

It's no secret that I'm a HUGE fan of the Key Ingredients at Taylored Expressions. Everything handpicked by Taylor, perfectly coordinated to make my paper crafting easier! Well, Taylor has done it again! You really need to pop over to Taylored Expressions and check out the amazing new Fabulous Fall Key Ingredients Kits being offered in limited quantities at just $12.95, a spectacular discount. If you've never tried the Key Ingredients, this is your opportunity to try a kit at a discounted price. All the details are on Taylor's Blog so I'll get right down to the cards I made with my Key Ingredients Kit, Winnie's Walls...the colours are so fun to work with!

Each of my cards features supplies from the Winnie's Walls Key Ingredients kit, including all the patterned paper, solid cardstocks, ribbons and rubons. I used the Weekend Sketch 105 for this card and paired it with Celebrate Life. I added a little stitching and some Flower Soft.
On this card I let the rubons be the main attraction and added a sentiment from A Year of Sweet Sentiments. After the sentiment was stamped I wished I'd embossed it to make it stand out a little more, so I added a row of Zva crystals to help draw attention to the sentiment.
And last but not least, a birthday card featuring images from For the Love of Cupcakes. I used Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 90 for the layout, and altered it slightly to fit the big 'HAPPY' rubon. I added some Fruit punch Stickles to the cupcake and Multicolour Twinkles to the scalloped circle. I think this card's my fave of the three.
Here's a little more info on these limited edition Key Ingredients kits. There are four kits to choose from...try one or grab them all...you won't be disappointed. I use my Key Ingredients kits often and I still haven't used one up yet! I truly {heart} my Key Ingredients! The kits are versatile for so many occasions and you can pair them with any TE images. It's a Bella Blog Hop!!!

Welcome to the Stamping Bella blog hop featuring images from the Chichiboulie line of Fairies and Bittyblooms. You can start the hop at Bloggabella so you don't miss a thing! In case there's a break in the chain just click on the master list of hoppers to find your place.
I had such a tough time deciding what image to use...they're all SO adorable! But I landed on Poppy Bittybloom...I adore her expression! I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch #45 for the layout.
In case you hadn't noticed, when I created this card I was in the mood for texture and dimension, and lots of it! I started by stamping Poppy three times with Memento Tuxedo black onto Bella's Bestest Paper. I paper pieced her shirt and hat then coloured the rest with copics. I cut out all around her, and yes, between her legs and arms too. I've seen lots of people in blogland cutting out their images and layering it onto a shape so I thought I'd give it a try. Verdict is...I LOVE THIS LOOK!!!! I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to add a little texture to the white circle before adhering Poppy. I used plenty of pop dots on this card...the flower on her hat is popped once and the flower she's holding is popped twice then I bent up the edges of the petals for even more dimension. I added black Flower Soft to the flower center.
I really wanted to use black ruffled ribbon but I didn't have any, so I created by own by pleating the ribbon and stitching along the top edge. I love the look and it was pretty easy to do!
The rest of the card is simple...some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Pretty Please line, a white flower border and some layers of Prism blush red dark and blush red medium. I added a little sparkle with some Platinum Glitter Dots.
There's a prize hidden somewhere along the hop so be sure to leave some love for a chance to win! One pre-selected blogger will choose a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $25 gift voucher to Stamping Bella! The winner will be announced on Monday in the Stamping Bella forum on Splitcoast.

Now your off to see Tiffaney's fabulous creation! Happy Hopping!!!!

Thanks for Hopping by!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 2

Are you ready for another day of sneak peeks? Well let me tell you, what I have to share is simply delicious...the best kind of eye candy...cupcakes!!!! It's another new set from the Whimsical Wishes line, For the Love of Cupcakes, which will be available at Taylored Expressions on Friday, June 5th at 11am PST. But don't worry...there's a new Cuppie set too which some of the other Baker's Dozen will be showing today. I was seriously craving cupcakes the entire time I was creating these cards! LOL!!!
When I saw this week's sketch challenge on Splitcoast I knew exactly what I wanted to do, so my layout is SC231 which I flipped sideways to fit my design. When I first saw this set I knew I wanted to use flower soft on one of the cupcake tops.

What I didn't realize was how stinkin' cute it would be! Doesn't it look like pink shaved coconut!!! And do you notice the sparkle in there too? After I applied the Baby Pink Flower Soft, while the glue was still wet, I sprinkled on some Cyclamen glitter. I think it fills in the "icing" perfectly! For the image, I first stamped the cupcake with Memento Tuxedo black onto Choice Snow White, then I masked it and stamped the footed plate. The cupcake was paper pieced and the plate was coloured with copics.

The fun candy brad in the center of my bow is all sparkly and pretty, and it came from the Cupcake Key Ingredients

This second card was created from a die cut cupcake card which is included in the For the Love of Cupcakes Bundle.
I started by running the blue "liner" through my D'vine Swirls Cuttelbug folder. Next I ran a bead of glue along the top edge and applied some Cyclamen glitter. Then I set to work colouring and cutting the rosette image from For the Love of Cupcakes. I enjoy cutting so this wasn't a chore for me. I also coloured and cut out the numbers while I was at it.
For the cupcake insert, I traced around the top onto the polka dot paper then cut it out and adhered it to the brown cupcake. A little paper piercing was all the top needed. I left a paper tab at the bottom of each number so I could slide them between the polka dot paper and the brown cupcake base.

The rest was super quick. A fun cupcake sticker from the For the Love of Cupcake Bundle, a pink ribbon tail and the sentiment. I'm really hoping my SIL is turning 35 this year but I honestly can't remember. It's easy enough to change the numbers though if I need to.  :)

On the first card, with the exception of the flower soft, all the paper and embellishments are from the Cupcake Key Ingredients, which includes:
10 sheets of Prism cardstock and 2 sheets of Choice Snow White
16 6x6 sheets of Doodlebug patterned paper
5 yards of ribbon
4 coordinating confections brads
1/2 oz. of Cyclamen glitter

You'll be able to pick up For the Love of Cupcakes on Friday, June 5th at 11am PST, along with the Cupcake Key Ingredients. Or, if you want it all, the For the Love of Cupcakes Bundle is for you!

Check out the rest of the Baker's Dozen for more eye candy.

See you tomorrow for release day!

Fresh Flowers Birtday

Here's a card I made with some awesome products from Taylored Expressions, the amazing Fresh Flowers set and the Mother's Day Key Ingredients. I was playing around with Flower Soft again so I actually have two versions of the same card to show you. Let's go with the plain version first:
The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Choice Buttercream cardstock (included in the Mother's Day Key Ingredients) and coloured with copics. I masked the vase so the stems wouldn't show...I was going for the look of a coloured glass pitcher. I added some clear rhinestones to the flower centers and coloured them with a blue copic marker (I can't stop doing this little trick ever since I discovered it a couple of weeks ago).
I used one of the new scallop EK slim border punches for the long brown piece and dotted it with rhinestones.

Now for the version with Flower Soft:
Everything about the card is exactly the same, but I covered all the flowers in the vase with Sweet Pea Flower Soft. Next I stamped some individual flowers onto Choice Buttercream, coloured them with copics and cut them out. I layered the flowers onto the Flower Soft.
I was going for the look of a very full bouquet of flowers, using the Flower Soft as a filler.

I can't decide which version I like better...hmmm. Which do you like best?
