Hello all, happy Friday to you!  I do hope you are pumped about the weekend, I know that I am.  I have some great news, my dh's heart went into rhythm on the first attempt......hallelujah!  Our prayer now is that it stays in rhythm, I am checking his heart beat often....boy do I love to hear is heart beat.....it makes me all mushy and lovey.  Thank you so much for the kind words and prayers, we appreciate it soooo much!  I also want to remind you to leave a comment here for your chance at a Verve stamp set and don't forget about the bidding of my card here for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, for a donation of $10.99 or more you will receive both cards in that post.
For tonight's card I played along with the Wee Memories Challenge, WMC22; to make an autumn/fall creation.  I used the Verve stamp set Harvest Blessings, paring it with Cosmo Cricket designer paper.  I added embossing, stitching, and rust ribbon and a button.  I hope you have a great evening, thanks for stopping by and for leaving such touching comments!  Enjoy.

LOVE Pocket Card With A Tag

I created this for this weeks JUGS32, the gals over at the Just Us Girls Blog have challenged us to make a Pocket CardI have had the great pleasure of being this months guest designer with the JUGS girls.  I hope you can play along with us, it is a fabulous variety challenge blog.  I made my insert part a tag, I adore tags; there is so many possibilities when making them.  I used October Afternoon Fly A Kite Designer Paper.  This paper is so yummy, I think chocolate and olive have to be my favorite color combo...anything with green looks good to me...hehehe.  I also used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches #53 for the front of my pocket card.  I played along with Jenny at her Wee Memories Challenge, WMC4; to use script.  The only stamping is script, the background of the tag.  Have a fabulous Saturday, be sure to make time to create!  Enjoy.

I also want to share my card I made for the Splitcoast Fan Club Theme of Vintage, CT0410 this is really hot now.  I also wanted to use the sketch that Mary Jo offers on Monday's, TSSC117.  I really did start with this sketch, I know it is not exactly, but hey I have always been one to tweak sketches..lol....even my own!  I played along with  Jenny in her first Wee Memories Challenge, WMC1; it is an inspiration..  When I saw the photo of the umbrella, boots, and flowers I knew I wanted to play along.  I wish I could play with every challenge, everyday but it is next to impossible, there are so many challenge blogs out there.  I do like the variety and it keeps us motivated and moving forward, so for that I say thank you!
My card today, has no stamping, can you believe it?  I used a quote that I found on line and printed it in Word and I must say I luv it.  I sure would like to have it in rubbah...hehehe.  The umbrella card is a flash card by K & Company, they are so adorable.  I used an old piece of a book page for a tab and added a button.    I hope you are having sunshine in your world today!  Enjoy.
