well, I could not let laurel's first sketchy saturday come and go without playing along....I am totally a sketch girl...thanks laurel! I have created this card with no stamping, I small piece of watercolor paper and some ink splatter peak out under the sentiment. I went digging around in my leftovers box and pulled this together....a quick and easy way to create a fun card and use up pretty things in your stash! hope you have a wonderful weekend!

viva la verve/january sketch - cast your cares on the Lord

hello first friday of 2018....you look awesome! looking forward to many more meetings like this one..off for a long weekend...lol. we have an amazing viva la verve sketch to share with you, don't ya luv it? I have used the verve set called scripture melody, this is a great set to have for lots of occasions. I used a watercolor splash for the background and then added black ink splatter. Stamped the scripture with my mini misti to get rich black coverage. I added a few flowers that I had in my stash from various companies. I can't wait to see what you create!

 ok, this simon says stamp flower set; floral shapes stamp and dies, might just be one of my all time favorites....hehehehe...I can have a lot of all time favorites, can't I? I have used the color throwdown colors and I adore te way my card turned out....the black and white houndstooth designer paper adds so much fun! I have created a watercolor splash background and then added the flowers, leaves, and twigs. A few enamel dots and ink splatters and the simon says stamp sentiment complete my card. Sure hope you have a wonderful week, I plan on getting a lot of creating done...super excited about this...eeepp.

sunday stamps-don't quit

hello friends, it is time for this weeks sunday stamps challenge and we have a sketch for you to work with! I have reached for sweet blooms that were in my little box of leftovers...did you see my post on the cardmaker magazine blog sharing a quick and easy card with you? If you did not, check it out here, this card was basically the same type of card. Of course those blooms are my favorite simon says stamp flower set called ranunculus. The epoxy sticker is from the simon says stamp card kit, a little washi tape, and a few dew droplets. I used a glitter pen to go over the sweet blooms. I can't wait to see what you create!

mojo monday/mojo500-beautiful

Well my friends, it is with great sadness that I share this will be the last mojo monday sketch for the mojo monday team. You can read Julee heartfelt farewell here on the mojo monday blog. I have been creating mojo cards since way back when, before there was a team...I have not missed one week of creating since the mojo monday blog started january of 2009. I am super sad to see this come to an end.... but I am so grateful to julee and her inspiration week after week....she is amazing! THANK YOU JULEE! I have been using julee's sketches since I started stamping in 2008, you can see my very first card created with mojo 26 here. be kind, I was extremely green. I luv how I titled it even then.."my first mojo" it really was true love! You can see all of my mojo cards created since there was a team in my scs mojo album link. I created an album just for them way back when!

today is a good day to smile

I have used the super sweet simon says stamp set that is in the june card kit, called floral bliss....such a gorgeous flower stamp and the sweet add on flowers are adorable too! I have used a notebook die from paper smooches called notebook basic. I colored the sweet flowers and leaves with zig markers and then added a few hero arts clear gems...I am luvin this color combo..thanks color throwdown!

good morning friends, this weeks sunday stamp sketch was created by me....I hope you like it and have fun! I have pulled together some more scraps to bring this card together...I am working way to much! The background is down with a watercolor smashing and then sponged with a lilac on the exposed white areas. The little flower and leaf is from reverse confetti, bloom n' buds....luv these flowers! I hope you have a wonderful day!

hello-you're in my thoughts

I am playing along with a couple of fun challenges, the color throwdown has spring colors to work with and the freshly made sketches has a super fun sketch to use! I have used a stamp from the stamp market, have I told you how much I luv their stamps? Well, I do...they are stunning designs and super cool sentiments and fonts! I have used the hello stamp set and bundle for my card today...luv the flowers! I used tim holtz distress inks and a little stickles on top of the flowers...super sweet! Hope you are having a wonderful and long easter weekend!

happy monday, it is a four day weekend for me coming up so it is happy week for me! I hope you have a great easter weekend planned, it is one of my favorite weekends of the year. It is a great time of year to start anew; Jesus lives and offers forgiveness..that is the best! The weather is getting warmer, diy projects are starting to take shape, and I am thinking blooms, blooms, and more blooms! My card today uses a hero arts kit from awhile back, I watercolored the background, stamped the thank you sentiment and then added the little extra sentiment to represent a bloom. Be sure to stop but the design teams blogs and see what they have created.

I am luvin the stamps from the stamp market...so many sweet designs! I have used the gorgoeus butterfly and the heart dies for this card. I added white polka dots with a gel pen to the butterfly. The adorable ink splatter is in the cute set little notes. The sentiment is from the kindness noted set. I also played along with a couple of challenges listed below. hello and welcome, it is time for another mojo monday sketch..this sketch is a favorite for sure! Of course I put my twist on the sketch! I have used concord & 9th stamps and dies...luv the outcome! I have watercolored the background and the added the love die cut that has been inked using my new altenew inks and let's just say I am in luv...they are quite amazing! I am so thrilled to share this card, it is created with stamps from the stamp market...a new amazing company! I have used simon mailablue ink for the gorgeous heart, there are awesome dies that fir the heart too! I have used the sweet color combo from the color throwdown and I was inpsired by the fun inspiration photo...the b&w stripes got me! I used the fabulous felt from taylored expressions to create the sweet little flower....I luv her felt! I finished it with orange and white bakers twine....totally luv the paper hug sentiment....squuuueeeaal. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

hello frineds, I am sharing today's mojo monday sketch paired with last weeks color throwdown colors. I have used an adorable echo park die that includes the flower, the leaves, and the word die...isn't it adorable? I used a watercolor splash background, added some ink splatter, and the sweet striped heart that was lying on my desk and then the clear pretty pink posh sequins.
