I had such fun with this weeks card, I luv getting the inks out and smearing them all around and then adding embossing paste makes it even better! I created the tag and then added the adorable hearts die cut from tim holtz movers and shakers dies, I heavy sponged tim holtz ink leaving a little white in the center....gorgeous color combo! I luv adding b&w with these two colors, so I added some bakers twine, gems, and the sticker sentiments from tim holtz too. I can't wait to see what you create this week!

I have used the adorable heart and bicycle stamp from carabella, these two are so sweet. I made a pathway of hearts for my little bicycle to ride on...now that is my kinda of pathway. I added a little embossing paste and a stencil, a watercolored background and the twine. The sentiment is a sticker from dear lizzy.  Some clear sequins for a little shine and texture. I can't wait to see what you create this week!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge it is an a/g week...yep, you read it correct anything goes...have fun! The design team is spotlighting the amazing colors of lindy's stamp gang, be sure to check them out!  Don't forgot every week at Simon Says Stamp we give away a $50 voucher...wooohooo....now that is worth playing for!

I adore the powders from lindy's, just sprinkle and add water. I like putting the powder on a piece of acetate and adding water to get the desired color and then use as a water-splash on my paper. You can use a brush to paint and create your own design or just flip the acetate over on the paper for a smeared look....so fun! I added a stencil design with embossing paste and then some twine. I also cut the flowers using taylored expressions felt and blueprints #5 dies. A few black gemstones to add a little sparkle...I can't wait to see what you create!

mojo monday/mojo466-kindness is a beautiful thing

lots and lots of fun with today's mojo monday sketch, I flipped it to create the taller version and I luv how it turned out. I used a watercolored background and then added ink droplets...luv the tumbled glass ink from tim holtz....prolly my favorite color of his collection! I added embossing paste, washi tapes, glossy accents drops, clear gemstones, and of course a little stickles to the flower. The stamp and sentiment are from the verve stamp set kindness matters.

 hi frineds, it is time for one of the challenges at your next stamp; I have used the sketch. I went with a mixed media background using ken oliver color bursts and then spritzed with white mister huey's. I adore the stripe-tastics heart dies from your next stamp company, sweet set, you can get yours here. I so luv the font on this sentiment, it is called whatnot sentiments set four. I layered the hearts and sentiment, added a twine bow and of course my beloved clear gemstones...sweet. good morning, I am sharing my take on this weeks sunday stamps challenge.....a gorgeous color combo. I have used the stunning flower from the altenew stamp set called beautiful day. I used distress inks and some blending with water and then outlined it with a white gel pen, some stickles in the center for a little shine. The background was a lot of ink splatter and distressing, super fun to create! mojo monday/mojo428-bright side of life

hello friends, this is a FAB sketch this week, Julee has created a favorite for sure. We are taking break at the mojo monday blog to enjoy christmas with our family and friends. We will be back the first monday of 2016, january 4 for contest week. I have used ken oliver brusho for the tag, mixing a couple of colors, a really easy technique with quick results. I splattered with mister huey's white ink. I embossed with wendy vecchi embossing paste some big ole' polka dots, added some gold hearts, and enamel dots. Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

hello friends, it is my second week guesting for Can You Case It, what a fabulous challenge blog they have...check it out! I have used the sweet stamp sets from Skipping Stones Design, I have ink up the background on watercolor paper and smashed it with a piece of acetate...luv the outcome. It is a/g this week, so I went for my favorite season, fall...it is getting cooler here in my area of Virginia some mornings and I luv it! I wish fall would last a lot longer, "a season of giving" I adore this sentiment from the hero arts stamp set leaves autumn. If you have not shopped hero arts before, check them out...they have lots of fun stamp sets, stencils, dies, gems, and inks! i have used one of my all time favorite stencils for this card, tweed pattern....I luv it, could reach for it every time! Playing along with Cardabilities and Tag Your It challenges, uses a little mixed media on my tag...so luv the look. I embossed the honeycomb design and then added Tim Holtz distressed inks. Added a Hedi Swapp heart and a leaf flourish from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is Mama Elephant. A rolled down corner with some embossing showing through...so luv the distressed look. Hope your day is grand...sparkle & shine!
