hello and welcome to fri -YAY and the weekend...hope you have something fun planned with the fam, the hubs and I will get into something for sure! I simply luv this time of year, it makes me feel so alive....I am not a fan of halloween/scary so I have created an alternative to this week as you see it challenge...to make it a fallish card. If you are like me, please feel free to create a fall theme card! I have used the adorable paper smooches owl and paired it with some glittery leaves from the stamp market. I then added gold glittery stars, these are also from paper smooches...my all time favorite star dies!

Hello and welcome to this weeks simon says stamp wednesday challenge, we are using an fallish inspiration mood board for this weeks challenge. I have used the sweet chubby chums set for my card, I think the little owl is super cute! I watercolored him using my zig clean color real brush markers. I created a watercolor splash background and added a couple of pieces of designer paper in the the gorgeous golden yellow and purple to stick with the theme colors. I added a a piece of may arts burlap twine and the woohooo sentiment..so cute!

crazy 4 challenges sept. guest - happy hello

hello friends and welcome to the weekend and another card for crazy 4 challenges. I hope you are playing along with their weekly challenge, it is always something new and fun! This week they are challenging us to a little glitter, shine,  and/or glimmer. Of course I am all about that *grin*. I have used a little stickles inside the star cut out as well as cut out stars with glitter paper. I popped up a cut out word of happy from the designer paper and the hello sentiment is from the stamp markets new release sets, you can find them here. hello friends and happy fri-YAY...I am luvin this weeks sketch from as you see it. I have used the paper smooches star dies...these are amazing. They are layered and even have some that are trimmed around the edges. giving you all sizes of the stars. I watercolored the background and then added some clear sequins and twine. The sentiment is from casual fridays, one of my favorites from casual fridays....it is called truth is clear. i hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I had a blast with this scs dare to get dirty challenge, I sure hope you are playing along....the link is below. I have used one of my favorite stamp sets evah from paper smooches, this is called best buds. I have used the prima confection paints to color the flowers...so fun. I used sticker words for the sentiment, so luv using these to create a unique sentiment.

This week it is all about animals for the simon says stamp wednesday challenge. It is all about the critters this week, I am luvin some of the adorable critter stamps paper smooches has to offer. The stamp set I used is called flap happy...sooo cute! I stamped the butterfly on watercolor paper and added orange gemstones. I used the gorgeous paper pack from penny black called golden moment. Some doodlebug twine for a sweet bow to complete my card. Super cute and fun!

I adore paper smooches stamps and could not wait to create this week, although the one layer had me skeeerrd.....lol. I did a little water coloring for a sweet pool background and then randomly stamped the flowers overtop. Adding a little stickles to the fuchsia colored flowers. I sooooo luv this sentiment, how often do we let life get in the way of stopping and thanking God for all of our blessings...take nothing for granted! be sure to stop by the design teams blog and check out what they have created, these ladies are amazing! Add a little glimmer to your life....sparkle & shine, kindness!

Hello and welcome to the last Wednesday of 2015, can you believe it? I really do not know where the time goes. This week the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge team is going to party, yep; we are starting early. What fun it was to create this card, I luv so much getting in my little studio and throwin some ink around...lol. I luv ink splatter and gems, enamel dots, and glitter...sounds like a party to me! I used the fun gold polka dotted paper from kaisercraft called a touch of gold...luv this pack of paper! I heat embossed the balloons and sentiment, aded the gold glitter...so fun. I can't wait to see what you create for our party. Add a little glimmer to your life...sparkle & shine, kindness!

have a merry heart

a sweet gold, black and white cas card for the merry challenge over at casogoly. I luv the word merry and knew I wanted to play but didn't want to make a christmas card. I had this fun heart from concord & 9th on my desk already so I paired it with the black and white tag; I came up with the sentiment "have a merry heart"..I like it, a lot! The heart is from the set tree hugs and the have a is from the paper smooches set crystal clear. I am enjoying my time in the studio and cannot wait to create this coming week.....fun, fun!
