Cookies & tea by Ana Paula

 I have the habit of saving packages and boxes that can be turned into a beautiful gifts.

This package used for gourmet popcorn
was embellished and became a beautiful container for cookies,
 it will be given to a friend who does not like chocolates.

To accompany an envelope containing tea bags for a special moment.

 Everything was done with beautiful papers, embellishments and metallic resin flowers Marion

Happy Easter !

Do You Suppose...

Hello there, happy Tuesday! I want to share a card with you today! As soon as I saw the Cut and Create paper that looks like this, I knew what I wanted to use!

I spotted that gorgeous pink rose image in the upper right hand corner and flipped! I thought it was so pretty! I love the vintage postcard look! I cut it out and created this card;

A few fussy cuts and some layers later you have a very pretty card!

I stamped right on it using this adorable wildflower stamp from the Curious Stamp Set;

I love adding different textures while creating so I created this card on a corrugated base and added some crackle paint to a chipboard corner flourish! It's the little things I tell ya ;)

Thanks for hanging out with us today! Now go make a card for someone special and have a wonderful day!

Love, Sarah

P.S. I also used these papers;

Sweet - A Layout Using Mad Tea Party by Kim Price

I just cannot get enough of the Mad Tea Party collection. I love everything about it from the colours, the patterned papers and the gorgeous matching elements. Today I want to share another project I've created with this line featuring a too sweet photograph of my little friend who follows me everywhere at home - my gorgeous silver Burmese, Anika. I just adore this photograph taken of her when she was just a wee babe and it looks wonderful tucked in amongst the gorgeous pinks and aqua tones of Mad Tea Party.

I've used similar techniques to my previous post A Steampunk Style Christmas Layout, creating a distressed layered border using various papers from Mad Tea Party, tucking in my photographs, a few elements from the patterned papers, flowers and some antiqued lace.

I'm just loving the gorgeous vintage style red armchair image - so I've added that tucked in behind a few flowers. Anika loves nothing better than curling up into a ball on a soft comfy chair so this is the perfect touch!

On this section of layout I've used some clock face images to create a layered effect and the finishing touch are those two sweet little butterflies hovering above.
