Vegas Baby!

As posted before Rob went to Vegas for a work seminar...yes in Vegas!  How could anyone be upset withing going to a work seminar when it is in Vegas?!


He said he had a really good time, but was happy to come home to his family...so sweet :o)

Sunday was a free day for them and then it was meetings Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.  They had a couple nights on their own and then a dinner for the whole company and entertainment another night.  There were over 9000 people attending these seminars!!  Crazy!

One guest they had was Colin Powell and Rob said he was pretty funny and from the video he took I would have to agree!


Although, I wish that I could have joined him (minus the seminars!), I'm so glad he got some time away and had break just for himself.  It definitely is/was well deserved!  And, of course I'm beyond happy he is home!!  I really did miss him :o)

It is with great pleasure to announce that I have completed my $1,000.00 Deal with my husband!  I got up with the boys on my own for at least 10 days and let him sleep and with that he offered me a $1,000.00!!  I may be exhausted out of my mind, but I am so excited to claim my prize and do some much needed pampering!! Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later

OH BELLY!!

Oh belly is right...well at least I think so!! We went to the OB on Monday and we're able to hear the heartbeats through the doppler and then the doctor and I started talking about the pregnancy and everything else and then the "weight talk" came up! I've only gained 5 1/2 lbs and she said she wants me to gain another 30 over the entire pregnancy...that seems like so much weight but I guess I have to remember there's two babies in this belly so I guess that's normal?! I wasn't planning on taking belly pictures because I just feel huge and not so cute, but I caved in and decided to take a few!! I'm going to have a friend take them for me but I was bugged and bugged to show it off now...so here they are. You may not think I'm getting big but I sure feel like I am!! I'm only 11 weeks but I feel huge!!
