1st Hair Cut!

They finally received their very first hair cuts!

Now I know, it's not that big of a difference, but Daddy wanted to cut their hair (it's a Majorek family tradition). And as you can imagine, 1 year olds do not sit still long enough to actually get a good cut..but they are still way cute!



Tyson did really well while getting rid of his "mullet"...

That is, until it was time to clean him up...  

And Lincoln...well cutting his hair was like "taking away his power" as Rob put it...

He fought us with all his might at the beginning, but then finally gave in...

And actually, he didn't mind the clean up so much...

It's still pretty long and I'm trying to work on getting Rob to cut it shorter, but he just won't give in...no worries, I'm not giving up either!

Highs & Lows of Surgery

Recovering after his surgery Thank you all for praying for Tyson, he is recovering great after a very long surgery Tuesday. Usually it takes a few days to close their chests back up after surgery, but his swelling was not too bad so, Dr. Nigro was able to close it on Wednesday, which is fantastic! He was doing really well with his breathing on the ventilator while trying to ween him off, that they decided to remove that Wednesday morning. After they removed it unfortnately, Tyson stopped breathing 5 different times within about 30-45 minutes after the ventilator was removed. The Nurses, Doctors and Respitory Therapists were still with him and were able to make him breathe again on his own after messing with and having to "bag" him. They believe that he still had the sedative medication in his blood stream and was not as awake enough. They gave him medication to reverse the effects of the sedative so that he would wake up which worked and he became stable. A few hours later

OH BELLY!!

Oh belly is right...well at least I think so!! We went to the OB on Monday and we're able to hear the heartbeats through the doppler and then the doctor and I started talking about the pregnancy and everything else and then the "weight talk" came up! I've only gained 5 1/2 lbs and she said she wants me to gain another 30 over the entire pregnancy...that seems like so much weight but I guess I have to remember there's two babies in this belly so I guess that's normal?! I wasn't planning on taking belly pictures because I just feel huge and not so cute, but I caved in and decided to take a few!! I'm going to have a friend take them for me but I was bugged and bugged to show it off now...so here they are. You may not think I'm getting big but I sure feel like I am!! I'm only 11 weeks but I feel huge!!
