Weekend Shenanigans & Father's Day!

Image
Our weekend craziness started a little early on Friday morning when someone got a little hair cut by another 5 year old in this house... The boys wanted to watch a show before swim lessons and when I called them down, I got no response so I ran up there and Tyson says, "Mom! I get a jelly bean because I let Lincoln cut my hair!!".  Um, no. I didn't get a picture of him, but this is his hair...a lot of his hair!  It was cut in so many chunks and some places right to the scalp, so he got his head shaved today...and, he's so darn cute!   The Majorek kids and Richardson kids finally got to hang out and so we took the kids to Chuck E Cheeses...not our ideal place to hang, but the kids had a great time!  This little dudes face was so darn cute on this ride :o) And best news of the weekend, this kids finally learned how to swim!!!!  We have no idea as to why all of a sudden he decided to do it, but he is a swimming machine!  Lincoln has been sw

Our Little Angel

I can't believe it's already been a year since we said goodbye to our little man.  This past year has been anything but easy in regards to healing and moving forward.  It's been a real testament of faith, strength, love, happiness and relationships.  I feel that we've been tested beyond what I can handle, but somehow we made it through.  I don't know that we passed, but we made it.  For the most part, the days were fine.  Occasionally, I'd have a moment here and there, but this last month was the hardest.  It was like I was going through every step and emotion all over again.  The anticipation to the anniversary date {June 17th} was as if I had someone pushing on my throat and lost the ability to breathe.  Thankfully for my sanity, I still see my therapist every so often, usually just when I need her.  I went a while without going to her and then as the anniversary date got closer, I felt the need to meet with her and I am so glad I did!  Sometimes, it'

Can't believe Kaila is already 15!  Time is flying by.  For her day, she and her friends went to see Pitch Perfect 2, shopped at the mall and then I met them for dinner at Kona Grill... no more little kid parties for this girl!  She's all grown up!! Happy Birthday to our sweet, smart, beautiful girl!! After her party, the adults played Cards Against Humanity...such a great time, even if my sister was kicking all of our butts!! haha   This is the first time in a couple years that the 4 of us were together under one roof...love them! Here's our fun, loving, competitive, "horrible" (according to the games tag line) group of awesome people :o)

Beginning of summer randoms!

Summer has begun and it's getting warm out! Kaila's ID card arrived and this is Dad's impression of her smile...Priceless! I do not want to unpack, I want to go back.  This is no fun...why don't they make "vacation un-packers"... We received this super sweet card from an amazing nurse that took care of us after we lost the baby... Attempted to go fishing at multiple places...no luck! One day they'll have an awesome day of fishing!     A little blurry, but the little dude is too cute at dinner... Went on our monthly golfing outing with some great friends of ours! Love these days...      The teenager returned!!!  We missed her and were so happy when she is home! The boys started the week off with some cleaning :o) Went on a bike ride, got a flat tire, but we stopped at Bosa Donuts so it was successful in their book! Oh and Arizona is now officially an oven.  We had a good run, weird amazingly cool weat
