Absolutely fantastic album from James Change and The Contortions.... Saw him live in 1981, in Rotterdam, and 41 years later, after seeing God knows how many great concerts I still say that that was THE best concert I've seen, Ever, first concert I danced my ass off, just amazing..... ROTTERDAM COLLECTION

So I got the news last week, Roger Twyford passed away.... Good old Roger, we, from the old Rotterdam punk scene knew him as Roger Bunker, he was, together with bass player Marja the driving force behind the band Bunker OESO, I've seen them play loads and loads of times way back and what better way to honor Roger then by re-posting this fantastic album with punk, no-wave, new wave and underground bands from Rotterdam, Bunker OESO among them? Produced by Martin v.d. Leer and Peter Graute (who played guitar with Bunker OESO), recorded in the winter of 1979/1980....

And here's me, standing in the front of a podium in the center of Rotterdam, Bunker OESO was playing, also Kotx, the J. Dops band and I think the Debiele Eenheid were playing too, after we demonstrated in the city to get a new punk club after the punk club Kaasee closed and burned down.... 1980, I'm the guy in the front in the middle with the glasses :) I was 15, living in a squad-house close by....
