HEALING CANCER MAGAZINE NO. 3

Healing Cancer Magazine was an American underground magazine coming out of Portland and this issue (number 3 came out in 2007) came with a cd that features many bands from all over the world, with four bands coming out of Indonesia: Homicide, Moment Of Pain, Ghaust and Trigger Mortis. HOMICIDE - BARISAN NISAN

Great album from Bandung hip hop/punk outfit Homicide, this one came out in 2014. Only 300 copies were made. Like all their albums it comes with many extra's, posters, booklets, too much to share here. It also comes with a small bag of earth and a card. This is not just some earth, this is earth taken from the grave of our friend, our brother, our fellow warrior Jojon who used to play guitar in Bandung hard-core band Balcony. Jojon passed away in 2014...

HERRY SUTRESNA - SETELAH BOOMBOX USAI MENYALAK

Ucok aka Morgue vanguard who's real name is Herry Sutresna has a book out. He was the frontman of Bandung's legendary rap/punk outfit Homicide.... It's stuff he wrote over the years about music, politics and other stuff... The last chapter is about.... me :) It's about me and it's about some of the music I introduced him to way back before there was internet here in Indonesia and he writes a lot about a punk band from my hometown Rotterdam called The Rondos.... I'm very honored by this :)

HOMICIDE - THA NEKROPHONE DAYZ

Here's Homicide's 2006 album Tha Nekrophone Dayz. This album got 4 stars in The Rolling Stone Magazine (Asian edition) and lots of publicity and it is a great, great album. Hard beats, deep, critical, political lyrics and even though they disbanded in 2007 they still have a large following here in Bandung and the rest of Indonesia, not just in the hip hop scene but in the punk/hardcore scene also. They're all good friends of mine and most of the members are still very active with bands like Eyefeelsix and Trigger Mortis.... They put out a few albums and I'll give them all too you starting with this one....
