We lost another great one, Yoyoh Supriatin. Born in 1942 she passed away last Monday in Karawang at the age of 82 after being ill for quite some time.... I was lucky enough to have seen her perform a few years ago when she was the surprise guest at a birthday party of Pak Gugum Gumbira.... She composed many great songs and her song Kembang Ros Beureum is her most famous song, it's on the cassette presented here, a beautiful kecapi tunggal cassette of Ibu Yoyoh playing the kecapi and singing.... Rest In Peace Ibu Yoyoh Supriatin, Innalillahi wainna Ilaihi rojiuun.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!

DARSO, DETTY KURNIA & BRAGA STONE - HAYANG KAWIN

Here's a cassette from Darso, Detty Kurnia and Braga Stone, for those of you that don't know, Braga Stone was a blind kecapi player, in the 80's he would sit in the center of Bandung, in Braga Street, playing songs from The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, hence the name Braga Stone... This is a re-post, the sound quality was really, really bad, I put the cassette in water for a few days and the sound quality, although still not great is a lot better than the old recording now.... Extremely rare tape this one.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!
