A giftbox using the Lulupu logo colors!

Hi friends!
Hussena here,
Today, I am sharing with you all a giftbox that I have made from scratch using cardstock and some beautiful pattern paper keeping in mind the current Lulupu challenge which is to use 'Minimum 4 colours from the Lulup logo + create banners or pennants . This cute, little box can very easily hold a small sweet treat or an accessory like a bracelet or some pretty earnings. This could make a perfect party favour gift too! So, here's a look at what I have made :

To make this box, I have first cut and scored the cardstock, then measured and cut the pattern paper from the DCWV Fresh Floral Stack accordingly, and then covered all the four sides and the top of the box with it. Then, I created a small handle on the lid to make it easy to open  and decorated the front of it using a die-cut panel which I have distressed on the edges using Crushed Olive Distress ink. I stamped the sentiment in the centre and also stamped, colored and fussy-cut the flowers and leaves using the Lawn Fawn Blissful Botanicals and Flutter By sets. Added the banners on the two sides of the box and a punched lace using the Martha Stewart Doily Lace which was then colored using Distress inks- Crushed Olive, Shabby Shutters and Tumbled glass.

Word Play Note Cards!!

Hello Crafters!!

It's been a while since I posted here, but I haven't been slacking off. I have been giving my hand some rest. But, I couldn't resist playing along with the Word Play Challenge and I was super excited about it since the time I suggested this theme. So there was no way I wanted to miss this! :) Also, as we have to make CAS cards for this challenge, it only made things easier for me..

And as usual, I got carried away and made FIVE cute little note cards. ;)

When I think of Word Play, I think of Lawn Fawn Stamps. Every Stamp Set has co-ordinating sentiments and images and for this challenge, I used the Love 'n Breakfast Set (I got three cards out of this set), Vintage Rides by The Craft's Meow as well because it had some really cool stamps and another card from the Raccoon2Love Stamp Set by The Stamps of Life.

I won't be typing much because right now, it's a little difficult.. So I'll just show you the cards. As usual, the list of products used for these cards is at the end of the post! :)

Tutorial: Flying Butterfly with the Silhouete Cameo Digital Die Cutting Machine

Hello everyone:

I'm exited about today's post!! You will be wondering why.......well, today's post is about the beautiful machine called Silhouette Cameo, and why I'm so exited? because this beauty can do pretty much everything, and I suggest that if you don't have it, do everything to own it!!!

The Silhouette CAMEO® is an electronic cutting tool. Like a home printer, it plugs
into your PC or MAC® with a simple USB cable. However, instead of printing, the CAMEO uses a
small blade to cut your designs into a wide array of materials. Silhouette.com

What can you make? Scrapbook pages, cards, custom apparel, vinyl decor, etched glass, sketch designs, temporary tattoos, paper crafts. Silhouette.com

What can you cut? Paper and cardstock, adhesive vinyl, fabric, heat transfer material, rhinestone templates, speciality media. Silhouette.com

Now entering into the project that I made for your inspiration, I did a quick video tutorial to show you how to make a card with butterflies flying! Yes, you can have that effect.

Here is the card:

And a Quick video on How to:

I used the a2 lori whitlock bracket easel card and the butterflies set, you can find the at the Silhouette store. Also, I used Kraft paper for the base of the card, pattern paper that I distressed at the edges with distress ink tea dye. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

I like the Shabby Chick look and I think that it goes perfect with butterflies!Hope you like it!!! Don't forget to participate in the current Lulupu Challenge #14 Color Crush!!

Sending smiles

Hello!

I'm Ruthie; this is my first post as a DT and I'm so happy to belong to it as there are very talented girls here! let me show you my project and give you some inspiration to create yours to participate in this new challenge.

This month's Lulupu's Challenge #14 is about our Logo colors with a twist to use die-cuts or Digital Die cutting too.

I made a card with our Logo Colors and I used my Silhouette Cameo to make a Hot Air Ballon which is  cut file from the Sihlouette Store. I used the 3D foam tabs to make it look like in 3D.

To make the clouds I used a negative cut of the cloud which is also from the Silhouette Store and distress ink using the ink blending tool of Tim Holtz that comes very handy. I love the effect!!

The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn which I stamped with Neon Hero Arts Ink.

Hope you like it and above all gives you some inspiration!!!
