L'ho spiato per due anni al SIMP e solo adesso me lo sono comprato . Questo è l'ultimo pezzo color verde mela, non esisterà più niente di questa tonalità: doveva essere mio !

I spied it for two years at SIMP and only now I bought it.

This is the very last piece in apple green , nothing will be made of this hue any more : it had to be mine !

Monsieur Piacentino non fa solo mobili stupendi ma anche giocattoli adorabili ed è egli stesso una persona deliziosa

Monsieur Piancentino not only makes lovely pieces of furniture but also wonderful toys and he is himself a lovely gentleman.

The Lady who handknits these wonders had no business cards or a site and it's a pity cause they are awesome.

Al KDF non sono riuscita neppure ad andar a vedere il tavolo di Stokesayware perciò appena arrivata ala fiera mi sono precipitata

At KDF I coldn't even get near the Stokesayware table hence , as soon as I arrived at the fair, I rushed to it

Volevo proprio vedere se questa porcellana era davvero così sottile e bella come tutti dicevano

I wanted to see if this china was truly as thin and beautiful as everybody kept saying.

Sì , lo è  ed anche di più !  inoltre Margot e Peter sono persone gentilissime e cordialissime, un vero piacere conoscerle.

Yes, it is and even more !  more over Margot and Peter are the kindest and warmest kind of people , it's been a real pleasure to meet them.

Per questo acquisto invece sono stata un po' sgridata.

" Ma come , tu ricami !" mi hanno detto.

E' vero , io ricamo e per questo so riconoscere un lavoro perfetto come questo e l'ho voluto nella mia collezione.

La pulizia dell'esecuzione è incredibile , assolutamente senza difetti. In effetti lo adoro.

Questa invece è la mia prima miniatura moderna, la mitica Ball Chair.
Andrà nella mini camera di Matteo nella Casa Rossa ma non prima di aver fatto dei nuovi cuscini, questi sono di plastica e davvero orribili !

This is my first modern miniature , the mythical Ball Chair.
It will go in Matteo's mini room at the Casa Rossa but not sooner than it gets  new pillows , these are made in plastic and they are awfull !

Insomma ho speso tanti soldi che alla fine ero al verde , così al verde che le mie care amiche hanno pensato di prepararmi un kit di sopravvivenza ;o))

At the end I spent so much money that I was broke , so much that my dear friends prepared for me a survival kit   ;o))

Almeno potevo farmi un tè e nutrirmi di caramelle..... non riuscivo a smettere di ridere :o)))

At least I could make some tea and nurish myself with candies ...... I couldn't stop laughing :o)))

 § Dove piccole case sembrano abitate da Biancaneve e dai suoi amici
§ Where little houses look inhabited by Snowhite and her little friends

§  Per incontrare delle fatine , S , S ed ancora S
§ To meet fairies , S , S and more S

 § Poi abbiamo raggiunto un paesino
§ Then we arrived at a village

§  Dove un amico sorridente ci ha accolte
§ Where a smiling friend greeted us

 § Ci ha presentato un amico importante , il Sindaco
§ He introduced us to an important friend , the Major

§  E ci ha mostrato quanti tipi di case si possono trovare nella sua bella regione : perfino la casa di un baleniere !
§ And he showed us how many different houses we may find in his lovely county : even the house of a whaler !!

 § Alla sera abbiamo ammirato il fiume che diventava d'argento
§ At evening we admired the river while dressing its  silvery clothes

§ Cosa posso dire ?
Semplicemente GRAZIE a Sans, Sylvia, Sabiha , Birgit e a tutte le meravigliose persone che hanno reso questi giorni di viaggio un'esperienza meravigliosa.

§ Se sarete dalle parti di Londra potreste venire a trovarmi, il 3 Dicembre, al Kensington Dollshouse Festival dove ho avuto l'onore di essere ammessa.

§ If you'll be close to London you might decide and come to meet me, on the 3rd Decomber, at the Kensington Dollshouse Festival where I had the honour of being admitted.

§ Dire che sono emozionata ed eccitata è una grossolana sottovalutazione dei miei sentimenti.
Inutile dire che ho già cominciato a disegnare come una pazza.

§ Saying that I am excited and thrilled is a rough underestimation of my feelings.
Needless to say that I have already begun drawing like a mad woman.

§ La cosa buffa è che io non sono mai stata alla fiera come visitatore .... spero solo di avere un po' di tempo per potermi godere lo spettacolo di tanti fantastici artisti ed artigiani riuniti sotto lo stesso tetto.
§ The funny fact is that I have never been to the fair as a visitor ..... I only wish that I'll have a bit of time to enjoy the show of so many fabulous craftmen/women and artists gathered under the same roof.

§ Vorrei ringraziare tutti gli amici che mi hanno spronato a fare la domanda : senza il loro incoraggiamento non ne avrei mai avuto il coraggio.
§ I want to thank all the friends who spurred me to apply for it : without their encouragement I would have never been so brave to do it.

Volevo solo dirvi che non ho fatto tutti quei copriteiera per venderli... li ho fatti per mostrarli a Mme Voirin, organizzatrice del Simp, per sapere se mi riteneva all' altezza di essere un espositore alla fiera di Parigi.

Sono molto contenta di dirvi che SI', è andata bene! e a Giugno chi mi vorrà conoscere potrà venire a Parigi con me.

I just wanted to say that I did not make all those teacozies for selling.... I've done them to show them to Mme Voirin, SIMP organizer, to know if she judged me suitable to be an expositor at the Paris fair.

I am very happy to say that YES, I have done it ! and everybody who wants to meet me can come in Paris, in June, with me.
