Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 232

Good morning!!  It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  Want to play along?  Here is the deal: make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of this post to enter your card. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC232 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

Please excuse my picture - yesterday my computer died.  Dead.  Done for.  I don't have my photo editing software handy, so you all get my iPhone photo today.  I'm having major anxiety over this event!  Now we get to see if our backup system really did save all our photos and documents.  I'm really stressed about buying a new computer too!  It's just money I don't want to spend.  Anyway...  Once I'm back up and running I'll replace the photo.  Grrr.

PHOTO UPDATED (happy, happy!!)

My card this week is pretty basic - stamps, paper, ink (and a button!).  I grabbed some goodies from Verve, starting with Bountiful Backgrounds.  I repeatedly stamped the polka dot background in Grout Gray ink on Grout Gray card stock.  The sentiment is from You and I and I layered the images up, then added another little row of dots underneath the sentiment using the lines and dots background.  I cheated just a bit and added the banner underneath the sentiment panel instead of the background, but the sentiment square was just too big.  Oops!

Please visit the Sweet Sunday Stampers for more inspiration:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

recipe -
stamps: you and i (verve), bountiful backgrounds (verve)
paper: smooth white (mft), grout gray (mft), pink lemonade (mft)
ink: grout gray (mft), pink lemonade (mft), steel grey (mft)
accessories: banner bundle die set (verve), pierced square stax die-namics (mft), pink lemonade buttons (mft), hemp cord (mft), foam tape

  1. Cute card and sketch. Hope you can retrieve all your files! Ours died a month ago or so and it is so frustrating! Luckily most files were saved! Good luck!!
