You Make Me Smile

***This is my second post this morning, please scroll down or click here for my TSG post***

Hello again!  I had a magical moment when making this card.  Everything just flowed together and I have to say, it's one of my best Copic coloring moments ever.  I ADORE the way this one turned out!  It's okay that I say that, right?

This is Puddle Jumper Ella (two) from By LORi Designs.  She is a digital image, so I printed her out on Choice White Cardstock in a wallet size and colored her with Copics.  I typed out my own sentiment in CK Marissa font and printed it on a File Tab Die-namics die cut.  The paper are Indie Chic Citron 6x6 from My Mind's Eye and the layout is Jen Del Muro's May SFYTT.

Hop on over to Lori's blog for more BLD inspiration from the team.

Thanks so much for stopping by -

Birthday Boy

Happy Tuesday!  By LORi Designs has some super adorable new Bug & Roo digi images available this month and I have a little peek at Birthday Dayton.  Isn't he the best?  I love his little jersey shirt and stripedy sleeves.  Yes, I said stripedy.  It's the caffeine talking.  I printed him out in a wallet size and then colored him with Copic Markers.  The papers are Indie Chic Citron 6x6 from My Mind's Eye (loving these papers!) and I wrapped some Cappuccino Twine around the card and finished it with a corduroy button.  The sentiment is from Little Talks 2 digi sentiments and the layout is Retro Sketches RS#10.

Have a wonderful day - thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Easter

Hello!  It's Friday, and Good Friday at that, so I made one last Easter card using this cutie pie Lollipop Bunny image from By LORi Designs.  I printed him out in a wallet size and colored him with Copic Markers.  I used the Polka-dot embossing folder from Quickutz for the background and kept the layout clean & simple.

Please stop by the BLD blog for more Easter inspiration.

I love the spring when it snows.  I'm not sure what it is exactly - you would think I'd be tired of snow after the winter, but then I see mornings like this and I'm reminded of the beauty of it all.  We woke up on Tuesday with snow on the ground and by lunch it was gone.  So glad I snapped a few photos early!  I left this photo pretty big, so if you click on it you can see it in more detail.  Those little flowers POP against the snow.

Happy Spring!!

BLD Easter Blog Hop

***This is my second post this morning, please scroll down or click here to see my TSG sneak***

I'm back with another fun post for you this morning.  By LORi Designs is having an Easter Hop and you should have hopped here from Kadie Ensley's blog, but if you just happened along and want to participate in today's hop, please start at the BLD Shop - Lori is giving away a sweet prize - a $20 Shop Credit!  So be sure to comment on each blog along the way to increase your chance on winning some digi goodies!

I'm thrilled to show you a brand spanking new Bug & Roo image.  If you aren't familiar with Lori's Bug & Roo line of images, they are drawn by her immensely talented daughter, Hannah, and they all have their own little personality.

Here's a peek at all the new Bug & Roo images:

I used Bug & Roo Bunny Girl 3 today and printed her out in a wallet size.

I used TESC154 for the layout and colored her will what seems like a million Copic markers, LOL!  I also used Easter Sentiments and printed it out on the flag banner.

Taylor Usry is next on the hop, so please stop by and see what she's cooked up for you this morning.

Just in case you may have lost your way along the hop, here is a list of all the participants:

Welcome Little One

Hello!  I'm so excited to share this card with you because I made it for my new baby nephew!  He was born this past Wednesday and he is just the sweetest little peanut.  I used Lollipop Peekaboo Baby digi image from By LORi Designs.  I printed the image in a wallet size (seems like that is a great size for cards and it's computer friendly for me) and then I colored him with Copic Markers.  The layout is Sweet Stop's SSS148 and the papers are all On the Bright Side One from My Mind's Eye.

I finally remembered to use some of my Liquid Pearls and added them to the center of the flowers.

I need to keep these pearls out where I see them because I LOVE them and always forget I have them.

Please stop on by Lori's blog for her Tuesday Inspiration Post.  She has all sort of fun cards and projects from the design team.

Spring Showers

Good morning!  We have had a fabulous week of weather here so far and I'm so happy to be outside in the warm sunshine and out of the stuffy house.   I picked up another By LORi Designs image and couldn't wait to get her on paper.  This is Puddle Jumper - Ella's Umbrella.  I used Jen Shults' DS41 sketch for the layout and then printed the image and colored her with Copic Markers.

I used my Sakura Glaze pen to add shine to the puddle.  I love this effect and I usually add 2 layers of glaze.  Just be sure to let the first layer dry completely before adding the second, otherwise you will get a gooey mess.

Please stop on over to Lori's blog to see the BLD Tuesday Inspiration post.   Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I adore the little Love pennants she's holding - so sweet!  The papers are Love Struck from We R Memory Keepers.

Happy Birthday

Good morning!  I hope you had a fantastic weekend and are easing into your Monday.  I've been working on a ton of goodies for you this past week and I'm so happy to show you a new By LORi Designs Puddle Jumper image - meet Party Time Gabbi!  My card is 5" square and I'm using Jen Shults' DS34 for the layout.  I've had this sketch bookmarked for weeks!  I colored her with Copic markers and then paper pieced her dress - the papers are Hopscotch from Basic Grey.

A reader asked a question about digi images this past week.  Digi images are a great way to paper craft.  You purchase the image and save it to your computer; then you can use it whenever you would like to, all you need to do is print it out.  The advantage to digi images is you can print them in whatever size you'd like - bigger for scrapbook pages and smaller for cards or even smaller for tags.  There is not a limit on the amount of times you can print the images once you save them to your computer, however many sites have a limit on the number of times you can download them after purchase.  So a good rule of thumb is to have a file set aside for all of your digi images - that way you won't have to keep downloading them from digi sites if you can't find where you've saved them, or where your computer downloaded them.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and I hope to see you back here soon for more goodies!

Thanks so much for stopping by -

Sweet Heart

Good morning!  I hope you have had a fantastic week - we've been enjoying our last week of winter break and I'm very ready to get into our normal routine next week.

I have a sweet-as-can-be Sugar Stick Sallie image from By LORi Designs and she's all ready for Valentine's Day.  I printed her out twice, once on cardstock and once on Love Me paper from My Mind's Eye, and paper pieced her dress and bows.  The sentiment is from Little Talks 2 and I just created a little flag with a pearl for it.  I had meant to add a few cardstock hearts to her and I completely forgot and just now noticed, but she is still simple and sweet.

Have a fantastic weekend!  Thanks for stopping by!
