Hello! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another fun sketch challenge from MFT! Here's a look at the sketch:
I made a card using à la modes Firecracker.
Kind of a fun image for the 4th of July, but then I didn't make it a 4th of July card - haha! That's what I get for stamping ahead of schedule instead of last minute like I usually do. She's stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics die cut, and I colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced the firecracker with some Country Drive 6x6 papers from Echo Park and then sewed around the edges of the panel.
For the flower, I used the Prima Donna Petals Die-namics with a pink rhinestone center.
I love it with the Kraft Cardstock center. For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment on a First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics and then layered it over 2 Mix & Match Banners Die-namics.
Be sure to stop on by the MFT Blog for a complete list of all the designers playing along in this week's Stamp Club.

ReplyDeleteLove that "short fuse" sentiment!! Fun "sorry" card and I think it's great to show that it doesn't have to be a 4th of July card with the firecracker! Love all the paper piecing!
