Hi friends! I miss you! I feel like I haven't been by the blog in a loooong time and I miss having my usual stamping time. And to top it off, I've run out of adhesive - GASP!!! So what do you do when you have no adhesive? You make a single layer card with a little cheat of
dimensional tape, that's what! I started by stamping the stems from
Friendship Blooms in
Olive Pastel Fluid Chalk Ink and then added a
Nestabilities Labels 15 frame centered around the stems. The blooms are stamped in
Warm Red &
Tangerine and cut out with the
Friendship Blooms Dies - the polka-dot centers are stamped in
Deep Lagoon and popped up with dimensional tape as well.
I think Santa needs to put some adhesive in my stocking this year - although, I'd have to tell Santa where to buy it and bring his 40% off coupon and the like, so maybe I'll just treat myself instead. LOL!
Thanks for stopping by!
Karen
recipe -
stamps: friendship blooms
paper: kraft, bazzill basics lagoon canvas, choice snow white
ink: warm red, tangerine, deep lagoon, olive pastel, dark brown fluid chalk ink (colorbox)
accessories: 1/2" circle punch, friendship blooms dies (taylored expressions), nestabilities labels 15 (spellbinders)
Yikes! No adhesive? That would be every stamper's nightmare - lol! Love your dimensional flowers peeking out of the frame...an image of spring is so welcome as it's snowing right now at my place!
ReplyDeleteNo adhesive! I would try telling Santa as well, but he hates taking my coupons along!!! I agree you may have to put it in your stocking on your own!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card. I love the use of your nesties on this one!
Absolutely LOVE this darling card. The frame around the flowers is fabulous. Think you are totally entitled to a "weighted" adhesive gift from Santa LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou should run out of things more often...this is gorgeous!!!! LOVE the frame!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous as ever! Nice work improvising without adhesive!!
