It's Wednesday again, and that means time to meet up with Julia and her band of merry bloggers here. If you want to join in just follow the link and give it a whirl. There is nothing at all on my desk at the moment and so it's a bit of a set up. I have been sat in the lounge practising my pencil colouring skills (which are nil) to the accompaniment of a class I took in February with the brilliant Tracy Scott. This time I think it is sinking in and here are a couple of practice sheets I have done this past week. Not much to show but it has not been a very productive week craft wise, apart from my journal page which is ready for tomorrow (with a silly story this week - nonsense).
Sorry it is so dark, I had to turn the light off to get a shot
At the front you can see a couple of new images from Vera Lane/Janet Klein which I rather took a shine too, mainly because the hairstyles were different to a lot of the others and I love to swap heads to make new characters. These are called 'wanderlust' and as you can see they are all about travel with one holding a camera and the other a map.
Well, that is it for this week - shock horror, it's a short post - I did also make a card but as the recipient has not had her birthday yet I can't show it in case she pops on here. See you with it next week.

The colouring is looking fab Neet. The new characters are rather cute too. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #?
Flowers look good to me :) I find when I'm attempting something new in art that I just have to keep plugging away at it. I always feel that I see no improvement and that I'll never get it but one day I wake up and suddenly find that out of nowhere, it's sinking in. So stick with it. :) xxxxx
Well I think your colouring is fantastic, the shading is amazing! I love the two new gals as well, if you did them with white hair, you could use them for some fun cards for ribbing your friends, lol! A girls’ wild night out etc etc *grin*

Those flowers are gorgeous. I think the more you practice drawing skills the better you get especially if you have a good teacher and the right type of kit. The new little people are so sweet, they are going to be perfect for your style of journaling. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x10x

Those are lovely stamps Neet, and the colouring is looking fab - it is such a relaxing activity isn't it.
Hope you have a great week,

Great photo of your flowers. I'll check in on Tracy Scott, I've been doing similar With video class with Wendy Vecchi. Love the FB posts in her group. With good weather I might lag a bit with crafting I need to get into a walking schedule. Changed diet and need to get that exercise. Have fun in whatever hits your fancy and enjoy this week.
Those flowers look smashing to me, Meet. Practice makes perfect. And the little stamped people are cute. Swapping heads? What would it be like if we could do just that? I could settle for being taller perhaps, slimmer too! The mind boggles! I hope you are keeping well. Hugs, Elizabeth x #4
OOh Neet, those colouring skills do not add up to Nil, believe me! I love the new hairdos on the characters from JK, haven’t succumbedTo buying any yet because I haven’t had the genius idea of chopping off their heads for a mic and match! Brilliant you, as usual.
That was a great idea to scan the newspaper. I didn’t even get to touch the paper, but next time we visit I might photograph some of it (if I am allowed).

Your coloring with colored pencils looks great to me Neet. I picked up those flower stamps too. They are lots of fun, aren't they? Of course I haven't had as much art time as I like lately with all the spring garden work I am doing, but it's all good. Hope all is well with you. Hugs-Erika
Great pencil colouring Neet - keep at it and you will be a pro in no time! Those two wee figures look to be fun.
Blessings
Maxine
