Grandma Christensen's 90th Birthday Celebration

Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know about our food assignments. Brad is picking up meat and cheese and I am picking up everything else and we'll divide up some of the cost. I'll need help cutting up tomatoes and onions that morning. It starts at 10:00 and we'll probably eat at 12:30 (Utah Time). I know it is early but Mom is usually worn out by afternoon. Send a copy of this to any kids out of your house. Love you, Mom

Happy Birthday, Tylee!

Happy 18th Birthday @tyleeann I can't even believe how fast these years have flown by! There is nobody I'd rather go on trips with, laugh with, cry with, joke with, love life with than this beautiful girl!! I'm so proud of the woman you're becoming! Happy Birthday Snick!

I realize that there are lots of birthdays this time of year and I don't have pictures for everyone's so, I am going to post what I have and hopefully others will fill in the birthdays that I miss!

Father's Day and Snick's birthday fell on the same day so we had a Snick/ Father's Day Bobbie feast. (smoked turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce on a bun) Debbie made the delicious carrot cake you see in the picture

Happy Birthday Meg!

Meg had a Little Mermaid theme for her 4th birthday party.

She asked for a two wheel scooter for her birthday.

Meg also had a great time camping. She couldn't stop talking about it. Thank you so much to everyone for the gifts and for helping to make her feel special!

Jared's Birthday

Jared had a Minecraft birthday party. The kids had to do a series of different activities, each one earning them a Minecraft brick.

They built marsmallow houses to earn wood.

They created an explosion using soda and Mentos to earn diamonds.

Here they are with all of the bricks they earned before they unwrapped them to find: Rolos-Gold, Pretzel-Wood, Ring Pop-Diamonds, Edible Grass-Grass, Fruit Leather- Leather, Pop Rocks- TNT, Chocolate Rock-Stone, Mini Marshmallow-Wool.

Carissa has been looking for opportunities to practice fondant. So, she agreed to help me with the cake. It was only her 2nd time working with fondant, and my first. I am hooked, look for more fondant cakes to come!

Chandler's 8th Birthday!

Chandler wanted to do science experiments for his birthday party.

Here are the bouncy balls we made.

We sucked eggs into a bottle using matches.

The diet Coke and Mentos explosion.

We put dry ice into balloons, tied them and let then inflate themselves. Then put dry ice into a bottle and made balloon rockets, and a few balloon pops.
