WIP

Well I have quite a few in-progress this week that I am really hoping and planning to finish by the end of the month, which is not very far. Hopefully I will report more finished blocks soon.

I have 2 more + and x blocks in progress for the second queen bee Nicky in the Japanese + and x Quilting Bee. I need a few more pieces cut out but they should be ready to go this week hopefully.


I am also still working on my pieced strips to make more scrappy X blocks like this ones
And I am also in the train working on my sewing machine for Jenny for the Get Your Hex On! bee.

So quite a few blocks in the pipeline this week!

    Could you give the size of the block? When I went to the link, it showed 12.5 inch block, but I couldn't find the cutting directions for this size. The other link for the tutorial is a different size block. I would like to do the 12.5 size.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
