  Time to reflect, time to look back before looking ahead. The year has been busy overall but very unbalanced with regards to my sewing time. Some months have definitely been better than others. One "almost finished" I am really happy with is my Modern City Scape quilt top. The quilt along started in January with one new block a week. I kept up with the schedule for a while but then fell off the wagon when I didn't sew for a long while. I was determined I would finish the top this year and not push it to my UFO list... Now it is not yet quilted (and I have no idea how I will quilt it or when) but I am very happy it is pieced completely. Linking to Best of 2024 Linky Party . Céline

March was an empty month on the Farmer's Wife front for me as I didn't manage to make one single block sadly. So I am still at 25 blocks, no progress there. Did you make any blocks? Share them here in the linky party so we can encourage each others.   Celine

Another month has passed, have you made any blocks? I hadn't started any until last week-end and I was unhappy about it! So this week, I have been on a drive to make 10 blocks and I am so happy to report that I finished my 10th blocks last night before bed time! So yes another 10 blocks for February taking my total of Farmer's Wife blocks to 25 blocks out of 111! This year I decided to pick up my Farmer's Wife book again and make some good progress. So I set myself a goal of trying to make blocks every month. This first month was helped by the Lazy Bums virtual retreat where I managed to complete 12 blocks, taking my grand total to 15 blocks! And to help me keep motivated, I thought it would be more fun to ask others to play with me so I created a flicker group here for all who want to farm with me in 2014, feel free to join us, it is a very relaxed approach as there isn't any set number of blocks to be made etc. And I thought it would be nice to encourage each others at the end of the month with a linky party. Now this is my first linky party so apologies if there is any teething problems! Now don't be shy, come and share your Farmer's Wife progress with me.
