Crafting for all Seasons #67 "Anything Christmas but a Card"

Good morning all. Hope everyone is well or getting better.
Well only two weeks left, need to get my skates on and finish off some more scarves for my sisters and niece...apart from that I'm about organised except for the cleaning and decorations....oh heck better get my skates on turbo charge! Hubby and kids are going to be on recycled cards again this year as I hadn't made enough specials and I'm not going to send myself into a tizzy trying to get them made now...and they won't notice it's the same card as last year!!

Today it's time for a new challenge at CFAS and this time the theme is "Anything Christmas but a Card". We're  looking forward to seeing all your makes. As this is a special one month long challenge we have three sponsors - Whoopsi Daisy, Robyn's Fetish and Rick St Dennis who all gave the DT images to work with.

Using a pre-coloured image from Whoopsi Daisy sheet #380 which I've highlighted with some pearlescent chalk and stickles, I've made a gift bag for another of my sisters. Papers are from Papermania, embossing folder was a magazine freebie, snowflake die from Memory Box, glittered snowflake from Asda, ribbon and gem from my stash. The sister tag is from East of India.

Close up of the embossing.

Close up of the bow, the little white bow was made on a fork...the first time I've made one of these and I have to say they come out perfectly.

and finally a close up of the image, my favourite snowman image as it's just so cute and happy.

Do pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the girls inspiration, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back tomorrow with another project.

Good morning all. Yesterday was looking a bit hit and miss weather wise so we decided to stay at home for the day, typically by teatime it was gloriously sunny! Whoopsi Daisy - Swirls

Good morning all.

Yesterday turned into a nice relaxing day, I caught up with lots of my favourite blogs in the afternoon then hubby decided we'd go out to tea. A new Marstons Pine Marten opened two weeks ago just round the corner from us so we went to try it out. It was very busy and we made it just in time before the evening rush started. The meal was fine and considering how busy it was we didn't have to wait too long - I think we'll probably frequent the place on a regular basis if they keep their standards up. The rest of my evening was spent digi scrapping.

It's time for another challenge at  Whoopsi Daisy  and this week it's team A's turn to share their inspiration with you. The theme this week is "Swirls" or you can do Anything Goes if you use a Whoopsi Daisy image on your project.

Image from sheet #431 coloured with promarkers and die cut with Spellbinders dies. Papers, sentiment and pearls from my stash. Floral border die from Memory Box.

Whoopsi Daisy Celebrate

Hello all, just one more sleep (or two if you read this before you go to bed!). Sunday was a very productive day - all the beds stripped, washed and dried; ham joint cooked; batch of Patricia's Baileys truffles made; a dozen mince pies; two rounds of rum butter and some Amsterdam Cookies courtesy of the Hairy Bikers; all the ironing done and the turkey cooked; presents all wrapped and under the tree. Unfortunately we won't be having any lovely homemade turkey gravy though as the giblets were missing  from the turkey:(  Still got to do a quick clean downstairs and make a trifle.

I'd like to take this opportunity of wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, hope Santa is good to you all. Many thanks to everyone who visits my blog and for all the lovely comments which you leave, I read and appreciate every one of them.

To all the spammers out there please do carry on leaving your adverts......I do so enjoy pressing the delete button!!

It's time for another challenge at  Whoopsi Daisy  and this week it's team A's turn to share their inspiration with you. The theme this week is "Celebrate" or you can do Anything Goes if you use a Whoopsi Daisy image on your project.

I've chosen a gorgeous pre-coloured images from sheet #398 die cut and layered up with a fabulous die set from Marianne Design. Sentiment and ribbon are from my stash and card is simply finished with some pink stickles.

Do pop over to the challenge blog to see the inspiration from the rest of the team and remember if you use a Whoopsi Daisy image you could win 2 image sheets, 1 sheet will be awarded to a winner using any other image.

As all the card came from the bit box on this one I will be trotting off to Di's playground to hang my stocking in the tree house - I've got my wellies on so I can jump in the puddles on the way there!

I've used an image from sheet #199 which was already printed and lying on my desk, coloured with promarkers and a gold gel pen. Base card is made with a fancy grand circle - I had one already cut and cut the other from a piece of card from the bit box. I've used the tinselly thread to hold the front and back of the card together. The backing paper was also a leftover from another project and I think it is Papermania. The sentiment and poinsettia are from my stash along with a couple of clear gems in the centre of the snowflakes.

Do pop over to the challenge blog to see the inspiration from the rest of the team and remember if you use a Whoopsi Daisy image you could win 2 image sheets, 1 sheet will be awarded to a winner using any other image.
