Second Week of Challenge

The second week of "Here, Kitty, Kitty has begun.  I am afraid I personally have not created anything this time as I have been working with a  very sick husband who had back surgery this week.  I hope next week he will be better.  So, therefore; let's see what the other team members created this week.
Barbara
I just loved the cute kitty images we received from Stitchy Bear/Barbara Jensen, I used the one for a Birthday card last week and decided this little guy needed a Santa Hat, and I had one from High Hopes stamps (Canadian company) I bought it 4 or 5 years ago and think I might have used it once. I fussy cut the hat and attached it to the image. The wreath is a brad, bought at my favourite little store in Delhi ON, they have the best brads. The sentiment is from a Stampin'up Christmas set. Patterned paper is from a DCWV Christmas and Winter diecut pad.

It doesn't take much for a cat to be happy -- if they are stretching or rolling around, or playing with their friends or chasing butterflies, whatever it is -- they are at peace.  These are good lessons for their human friends to learn.  I tried to capture that feline joy for this tag,  I used two digital kitty images from our challenge sponsor Stitchy Bear's designer Barbara Jensen.  I printed both on paper from the primavera paper line by itKuPiLLi.  The other background papers are random designer papers from my stash, as are the butterfly stickers.  The ecstasy stamp is from "marked by distinction."  I did additional decorating with my Molotow pens.

For the second week of Here Kitty, Kitty, I created a bookmark using a digital image from Stitchy Bear/ Barbara Jensen which I colored with watercolor pencils. I layered my kitty on a paper from a kit called Cute Cats and you can find it at Digitally Me.Then I added some flowers, ribbons and a sentiment from Becky's Scrap. Keep playing along with us and have a magical week!

I've used Stitchy Bear's 'little tiggy tiger' kindly supplied by the challenge sponsor, coloured in copics and mounted on to an offcut of copper mirror card. The paw print ribbon and the computer printed sentiment were also mounted on to other snippets of copper mirror card and everything matted on to some animal print card that I've had for a long time ... just waiting for a 'tiggy tiger' to come along!

Challenge #99-"Here Kitty, Kitty"

I personally have been a little slack on my posting lately as we have had a lot of doctors' appointments lately and my hubby is going in for surgery this week.  After Friday, I should be back to "normal" (What is normal?)

In the meantime I want to welcome Kati Atanasova as my Guest Design Team member and we will begin with her piece of inspiration.
Kat
Hello craft people and thank you for the lovely welcome, that you have made for me. My first work for The Cheerful Stamp Pad and the new challenge Here Kitty Kitty is a wall hanging for my little niece. She is 1 year old and it seems that this lovely image Licky Tiggy Tiger from Barbara Jensen at Stitchy Bear Outlet is made just for her. I have colored it with Tim Holtz® Distress Inks. The other was easy - one unused cover from a box, purple paint, a lot of glitter and grass where to hide  Kitty.

When I was getting things together for this card I saw a sticker packet in my stash that had cats, footprints and little mice.  I knew then I would make a card a little on the funny side.  I had that little mouse and couldn't find a place for it so.......  Can't you imagine the mischief that this cat is getting into?
Barbara
The first week of the new challenge is Here Kitty Kitty, isn't this an adorable image from Barbara Jensen at Stitchy Bear Outlet? My first thought when I saw the kitty was great image for a Birthday card for my friend that is a cat lover and it looks just like one of her cats. I coloured with copics, cut with spellbinders ovals and popped it up on some patterned paper from Wal-Mart. I just love the gray and pink together. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and it's one of the first stamps I bought and that was a long time ago. The shiny paper is from a paper pack I bought at the dollar store also a long time ago.

Our DT was given digital images by designer Barbara Jensen for this challenge.  I love this digital cat image as it is so dreamy looking, I added more dreamy things to make my tag.  The background papers are from the primavera line by itKuPiLLi.The gorgeous moon stamp is by Rubber Moon Art Stamps.  The dream stamp is from Inkadinkado.  If you are a cat lover then you surely can not pass up this challenge!

For the first week of Kitty Kitty, I created a tag using a digital image from our sponsor Stitchy Bear. I colored my kitty digitally and placed it on a tag which you can find at So Digitally Me. The name of the kit is Cute Cats. Then I printed it and added some flowers and a ribbon.Hope you have a magical week!

I used kitty 1 and kitty 2 kindly supplied by the sponsors, Stitchy Bear Stamps,, flipping kitty 1 horizontally, then coloured with spectrum noir pens. The background paper is some I got a long time ago from PDA card and crafts, twill ribbon from Hobbycraft and the two silver embellishments have been in my stash for ages (yes, they are both silver, although one looks gold in the picture

I hope you are inspired to enter into this challenge as the DT would love to see what you create.  The main thing is make sure you follow the theme.  This challenge is being sponsored by Barbara Jansen on the Stitchey Bear Outlet.  Just click on the banner below.
