Challenge Reminder - Rain and Flowers

This is a reminder for you to join my challenge "April Showers Bring May Fleowers".  I have quite a few entries so far but, there is time for more, so join in.  The winner will be picked by random generator and announced on Tuesday after the challenge ends.  The Design Team would love to see what you have created.

In the meantime here are some more pieces of inspiration from the DT.
Vicki
My card is very clean and simple.  I love Floppy Latte's flowers in a circle and I think they are perfect for this get well card.  The sentiment is by Our Daily Bread Designs.
Petra
May has come and the flowers look ever so lovely. For the second week of the challenge I used a little vintage image which I thought is just perfect for the theme. I layered it on coloured and patterend cardstock and embellished it with flowers, ribbon, lace and twine and a chipboard sentiment.

Michele
For my week two creation I decided to use one of the beautiful silhouette digital images from Floppy Latte.  This lady sports spring flowers in her hat and I added just a touch of color on those flowers with colored pencils.  I added to the flower motif with flowered origami paper, paper flowers and a shiny flower sticker.  The dream stamp is from Inkadinakado.
The Daisy panel is a digi  image from our sponsor. The flower corners are stamped images, fussy cut , then shaped to add dimension.

For this weeks post I have made my "May" Calendar/Journal Pages using images from the May new releases by Gecko Galz. I painted the background  using a baby wipe to "swoosh" the paint over the pages. It took a while to cut out all the flowers for each day of the month!!!

My Darling Daisies has brown & deep wine centers fading into white or pale yellow. The pale green of the leaves are echoed in the green card. Rhinestones add some bling to the card. We hope to see some more flowers and showers this week!
 Barbara
I chose Daisies in a frame from Floppy Latte for my image, it was coloured with prisma colour pencils and odourless mineral spirits. I loved this image when I saw it as it is so versatile, birthday, get well and thinking of you  The winter has been very long and now we have good weather I had to get out the daffodil delight, both card stock and ribbon in the same colour. The embossing folder has birds and leaves on it and makes me think spring.

Challenge #59-"April Showers Bring May Flowers"

With all the rain we have had lately, I should have loads of flowers coming up--or weeds!  In any case my theme this time is "April Showers Bring May Flowers"  You may either enter your creations about rain or flowers; it is your choice.  I would love to see loads of entries for this challenge.  I was beginning to think no one was going to enter the last challenge.  However, after a while I received some great entries.

Let's see what the DT has prepared to inspire you.
Vicki
This card is a little on the busy side, but all the elements have the same colors.  I like the polka dots of the background picking up the round centers of the daises.  My daises and frame are colored with Copic markers.  The smile tag is one I found in my stash and the small diecut was lying on my table waiting to either be used or thrown away

I used an image from our sponsor and created a scene in a computer craft program.
Petra
These daisies made me smile as soon as I saw them, they are such wonderful Spring flowers. I printed this images from our sponsor as big as it was possible for the card and layered them on digital paper and coloured card. The image is coloured with inks and Copics, cut out and added to the card with foam pads. A little bow, button and a sweet butterfly are the finishing touches for the card.

A simple card to show off the Artsy Flower from Floppy Latte Designs!
Colored with florescent gel pens to make the design POP!
Sentiment is from Rogue Redhead Designs, on a ribbon banner that is raised with a pop dot for dimension.

Michele
I colored this delightful "artsy flower" digital image from Floppy Latte with colored pencils.  I chose three pretty designer papers for my background layers.  This digi is perfect for an all-occasion card. I hope you'll join our spring-y challenge!

Barbara
I picked Eddie's Favourite for my image and decided it needed to be a 5 inch square card, the sentiment is computer generated. The flowers were coloured with pale vermilion and the leaves in olive.

My Artsy Flower, generously supplied by our sponsor, Floppy Latte,  is coloured in oranges & yellows. Greens were used for the leaves. The flower was 3-D'd for extra dimension & I sponged the edges. The red of the card is the promise of all the bright colours that will pop up in your garden, and of course here at the challenge!

 Jenn
I used Delayed Delivery from Floppy Latte Designs, colored with Copics and paired with some coordinating polka dot and cloud digi papers.  Ribbon is from Stampin' Up!  I sponged around the edge of the card with gray ink and added a sentiment from A*Muse Studios.

The images that the Design Team used come from my sponsor this week, Floppy Latte.  A visit to their site, will reveal that they have a great assortment of delightful images.  There are images for almost any theme.
