Christmas Eve

Presents are all wrapped and under the tree! The house is a mess, I've got a pavlova to make and a seafood platter to assemble for my family dinner at my sister's house tonight. My brother has just arrived this morning from Oman and he is on the way to my Mum's. Here is a layout (I don't do many scrapbook projects as I'm not very good at them) that I made from a photo taken last Christmas of our cat Tiger.  Come back tomorrow and I will show some photos of what I'm making today!

We had our annual work Trivia Night last night and our team won! Yay! Some of the questions were very hard and we were surprised that we scored so well!

20 Days til Christmas

This is the fifth post in my series of daily blogs until Christmas. I made these tags using the beautiful patterned papers from the St Nicholas collection from Kaisercraft. Very quick to do, just die cut the tags, ink with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs, Spray with Perfect Pearls, stamp with gold ink and smear with a bit of gold distress paint. Finish off with some pretty ribbons, sequins or rhinestones. I'm looking forward to a catch up tomorrow with fellow Melbournian Bloggers - Jenny, Lyndal, Michelle and Chupa (I'm going to be surrounded by so much talent!)
