Pink & Gray card set

These cards are part of a set I'm making for a friend who asked for feminine mailable cards.

The first one is using a current sketch from The Paper Players. Background is stamped with Something Lacy background stamp in Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. Base is SU Smoky Slate.Flower is from SU Petal Potpourri set.
I'm also entering this card into these challenges:
{PIN}spirational challenge - pink
Get Creative - must include Flowers

For the second card I found a pink cardstock almost the same as Picked Raspberry in an AC Primaries CS Pack. Dies, punches and sentiment stamp are all from SU.

challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Creative Corner - Happy Birthday

On this card I added some TH Spun Sugar ink into the mix + a bit of stamping using the paint splatter stamp from SU Awesomely Artistic set. Sequins are leftovers from a Christmas stitching project :)
 and some more challenges:
The Paper Girls - Happy Birthday
Challenge Up Your Life - Sequins

And all 3 cards together
I'm planning to make couple more, so if you like these, stay tuned.

Colorful Hexagons

here is the second set of cards I made for my kids' teachers earlier this week, just didn't have time to post :)

I used hexagon background stamp from Hero Arts, stamped it with Versamark on watercolor paper, embossed with detailed with EP and then smeared inks all over straight from the pad.

Messy fun - watercolor paper is forgiving and if something seemed to dark I sprayed it lightly with water and wiped of  some color with paper towel.
Sentiments are just random.. probably each from a different set.

I'm entering them into the following challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges - Hexagons
Sweet Stampin'  - Not Cute
C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Thank You Teacher
Dutch Dare Care Challenge - photo inspiration - I was inspired by all the fun colors in the picture

Lots of wings card set

Last night I realized it's almost the end of the school year for my kiddos and since I planned to make little card sets for their teachers - today I got busy.
Since there isn't much time, I wanted something easy to make, so I went hunting for inspiration and I found it here.
This is the first set with punched butterflies

sentiments are from Stampin Up and no, I don't own 50 shades of pearls - I colored a lot of them with alcohol markers :)
I'm entering it into these challenges:
Everybody Art Challenge - Butterflies
Creative Craft Challenge - A Stitch In Time
Cupcake Craft Challenge - CAS with no flowers
Bunny Zoe's  - wings

...come back tomorrow to see the second set!

ABAC9 - Christmas card boxes

This week we at Anything But A Card challenge blog  have a pretty easy seasonal challenge for you! You can take the Challenge's light aspect and do something that represents light- candles, fire, sun, etc. lights, lamps, etc or do something related to a Winter Holiday.  The choice is yours!

I have hundreds of various cards just stashed away waiting to be mailed - so I decided to give them away this Christmas season. And to do it in style I'm making gift boxes for them. Here are 2 finished ones:

Each holds approx. 6 cards and envelopes (they could take more if the cards weren't embellished).
The one in the back is for 5.5" square cards and the front one for A2.
For the square one I used general instructions I found somewhere (don't remember the page), for the A2 I used this tutorial.

I'm also entering them in My Sheri Craft challenge - called It's a wrap

Another Haute Tote card set

I know - you are all probably sighing - not another one of those... Sorry, can't help it - just love making these little totes ;)
For those who asked about the tutorial how to make the tote - I got the template from Creations by AR blog - printed the .pdf files, cut them out and then it's just a simple job of adhering the pieces together. So there is no tutorial needed - really!
I had the tote for some time and needed some matching cards to fill it up so here is what I created:
I used the same papers as for the tote (DCWV Spring glitter pack) and free digi sentiments from Raindrop Echo Designs (at least I think they are from them). The set contains 4 cards, but the other 2 are pretty similar to these (just on yellow CS with different sentiments) - so there is no need to show those too.

I'm entering them into the following challenges:
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - Focus on Sentiment
Stamp Something - use a digi
ABC Challenge - F is for flowers

Materials:
Papers: DCWV Spring glitter pack, Yellow & Blue CS - Bazzill Smoothies
Ink: Toner, TH Tumbled glass distress ink for sponging
Embellishments - Flowers - Prima, Recollections, Wild Orchid, Spellbinder dies, SU die, brads, ribbon

#106 - Haute Tote and matching cards

I've seen this cute tote bag on Nana's blog and it was love on first site - I need to make several card sets and this looks like a perfect stylish packaging for them. So I looked up the template and printed the pieces not for one, but several totes. Here is the first one and some matching cards. I was inspired by the pictures on Photo-Synthesis Challenge blog so I dug up this black & white designer paper I knew I had somewhere and paired it up with Bazzill Smoothies cardstock.

And here are the cards:
Card #1 - featuring my brand new yellow Primas - inspired by Danderella's Sunday card. The greeting is from Mark's Finest Papers, stamped with Cat's Eye chalk ink.

Card #2 - same DP and yellow CS - SU butterlies die and Martha Stewart Punch. The sentiment is stamped with Versafine and embossed.
Card #3 - black embossed CS, lace and sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs. I'm entering this card into Sentimental Sunday challenge (anything goes + sentiment)
The last card is the only one with stamped image - it's from Mark's Finest Papers - stamped with white ink on black CS and colored with Prismacolor pencils
