Basic Grey - Indian Summer - 12 Autumn Cards

This is not one of my 6x6 paper pads posts, but I found 3 full 12x12 sheets and some bits of Indian Summer patterned paper brom Basic Grey and since it's that time of the year I decided it's time to use them. I managed to make 12 cards in fall colors. I used a variety of sketches, stamps and dies

some with animals - owls are from TGF and the goose is from a retired SU set called Wetlands
Crafty Friends - Autumn Colors
Sweet Stampin - Autumn

and I used the coffee cups again, this time with spiced pumpkin latte sentiment and some falls leaves
Allsorts - Autumn Colors
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes + option: Colors of Autumn

one card with a basket full of autumn harvest

and two with this silhouette stamp - for some reason it gives me fall vibes :)

Basic Grey - Eskimo Kisses - 30 Christmas cards from 6x6 paper pad

Phew, finally done! I finished using up another paper pack - this one is called Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey - if I'm not mistaken it was released in 2009, so I was sitting on it for long enough :)
I already posted some of the cards in previous posts, now I'll show you the rest.
I managed to make 30 cards - from the simple ones I made 2 of each. The pad was not full, but I also found 2 partial 12x12 sheets from the same collection so I used those too.

I made several cards with cute critters - stamps are from Stampin' Up - owl and fox are retired and the polar bear is from a current set.
Crimbo Crackers - Anything Christmas Goes

Then I did some coloring - most of these images all from Flourishes, cardinals and teacups are from Power Poppy - all images were colored with alcohol markers
Always Fun Challenges - Anything Goes

and last but not least - cards featuring sentiments - different brands and scripts, but I like them all

I'm in a process of using up another old 6x6 paper pad - this time Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey - I think that one was released in 2009 - sooo, I guess it's time to use it up :)

For these 2 cards I used the current sketch from Mojo Monday challenge:

Cardstock is Berry Burst and sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set.

SOS79 - Odds & Ends

Good morning - it's Tuesday and that means a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash. This week we would like you to use up some odds and ends and/or things maybe that have been hanging around waiting for a purpose...so take a look on your crafty table/space and use some stuff- just tell us what it is! You know how you tend to have one  button in a set left over, or three unmatched brads, etc

I used the last felt sticker from Eskimo kisses pack and the last word sticker from another sheet. The stripy ribbon and white ric rac are also leftovers, same as the rhinestone swirl (yes, you can see 3 swirls - but it's just the one cut up into smaller pieces). And the white flower was also last in it's jar.. Who knew I had so many odds and ends...?! ;)

Challenges:
Allsorts - Bring on the bling
Dream Valley Challenges - non traditional Christmas
Love to Create -  non traditional Christmas
ABC Challenges - anything goes

Basic Grey Jovial card kit

here are some cards I made from Basic Grey Jovial card kit this week - I know, you probably don't want to hear the words SNOW or WINTER anymore, but we still had the white stuff on the ground this week and I felt like playing with the kit I got on sale ;)
This week's theme on Sparkle's Christmas Card challenge blog is NO STAMPS so I thought this will be perfect for it. The words are rub-ons or die cuts, so no stamping involved.

House Mouse - Micey Nice Bank

and one more post for today - got this cute new House Mouse stamp and I just had to play.
I decided to paper piece the piggy - stamped it on several different patterned papers and then I had hard time to decide which one to use. And here is the winner - pieced from Basic Gray DP from Perhaps collection. The image is colored mainly with Copics + some shading with Prismacolor pencils. I also shaded the pieced piggy around the edges. The mat behind the image is Basic Grey too - from Olivia collection.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Basic Grey: Paper Piecing
Crafty Catz: Paper Piecing
Challenge Up Your Life: Old McDonald had a farm (he had a piggy there for sure and probably some mice too)
Stamp Insanity: It Happens In Threes (3 flowers on top of each other, 3 pearls in a row (2 times)

Materials:
Stamp: House Mouse - Micey Nice Bank
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Coloring: Copics, Prismacolor Pencils
Paper: Basic Grey - Perhaps, Olivia, pink card base
Embelishments: Flat back pearls from Basic Grey, Flowers (Prima, Recollection)

Love is Gone in Blue and Gold

Here is another card made with a stamp from my favorite company - Sweet Peas.
This one is called Love is Gone and I colored her in blue and gold (the background is colored with gold Prisma pencil) for Basic Grey's color challenge - blue, gold and white.I used Basic Grey Marakesh papers - the orange in them reminds me of gold too. I also used Gold CS and brads. If you see some spots on the fairy's face - it's Glimmer Mist - looks much better IRL - hard to take a good picture of it ;)
The sketch is from the current Crazy 4 Challenges challenge.

Sweet Pea - Nostalgia

My new Sweet Pea stamps arrived last week and I couldn't wait to stamp and color them. I love these detailed images - they are really fun to color.
This one is called Nostalgia. I stamped her on watercolor paper and colored with water based inks/markers and aquapainter. I used a sketch from a current Basic Grey challenge and Basic Grey Ambrosia DP. The embelishments come from my huge stash - hard to say who is the manufacturer.
I'll be making more cards with Sweet Pea Mermaids so if you like this one - stay tuned. ;)
