SOS215 - Layered Peacock

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is to use layers - since I was never into super simple, one layer cards, this was no problem for me :)
My entire card was made using a paper pack from Heartfelt Creations - it has images, frames, layers, plain papers, sentiments and everything is matching - perfect for layering. No stamping involved, just added a ribbon and some gems.

Challenges:
Dragonfly Dreams - Flying High with WIngs
Pile it On - Bright Colors
Crafty Boots - Fair and Square
Crafting with Friends - Anything Goes
Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes

SOS74 - Birthday Cardinal

Good morning! It's Tuesday and that means another challenge at Shopping Our Stash - this week we have a fun one for you - it's called Out of the Jar: you can use anything that came in a jar (flower soft, glitter, perfect pearls, embossing powder, etc.,)  OR a jar image - or make something using a Jar! (decorate it)

I started with image from Spring Cardinals PreCut Set from Heartfelt Creations, colored it with Prisma pencils and embossed it all with clear embossing powder (it came from a JAR) . Then I made a frame using Spellbinders Labels. Placed it on the colored image and sponged the inside with Tumbled Glass distress ink. Then I stamped Tim Holtz background stamp over it in Broken china.. I wish I had some Heartfelt Creations background stamp, but I don't...
Flower was cut out with Posy Patch Dies from Heartfelt Creation and I added fold microbeads in the middle (these were in a JAR too) :)

Challenges:
Stamptacular Sunday - no rules (just stamp)
The Crafty Pad -animals
The Stamp Man - butterflies, birds and bees
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - birthday card

ABAC1 week 2 - Stamped Fall candle

This is just a little reminder post for Anything but a card challenge blog - you still have a week to play in our first challenge - you can create ANYTHING (but a card of course) :)
Today I made a stamped fall candle. I used a stamp from Heartfelt Creations Scenic Combo PreCut set. Stamped the image on tissue paper and colored it with Copics - if you never tried to color on tissue paper here is a tip - you need to use darker colors than you would normally use and don't count on super detailed blending  ;)

The flowers - small ones are cut from little cork coasters and the bronze one under was painted with mix of PearlEx and ModPodge - these too together provide a good coverage, so if you have some flowers you don't like, you can paint them over and have brand new ones.

I'm entering it into these challenges:
Stamptacular Sunday Challenges - Anything But a Card
Amusing Challenges - Anything But a Card
2 sisters challenge - fall
Raise the Bar - celebrate fall

SOS8 - Out with the Old, In with the New

Here I am with a card for Shopping Our Stash Challenge #8. This challenge is called Out with the Old, in with the New - that means you can use something old you've been stashing for long or something new you got.
I used both - my brand new scripture set from Heartfelt Creations and my old butterfly - I had it for a long time and always felt sorry to use it and give it away with the card ;)

Heartfelt Creations - Ornament card

Here I am again with my third post today. I would like to show you my very first Heartfelt Creations card - I made it for the current challenge on Joans Gardens blog.
I used Fancy Ornament precut set and the matching ornament die. The ornaments were stamped on watercolor paper with Versamark and embossed using detailed silver embossing powder. Then I colored them with waterbased inks and markers. I used my favorite winter color combo based on Bo Bunny Winter Joy papers.
