SOS53 - Roses & Butterflies

Welcome to another Shopping Our Stash Challenge. This week we say goodbye to May with a floral sendoff- use anything flower or floral related on your project- whether it's designer paper, handmade flowers, floral images, embossed floral patterns, etc. , as long as we can see a flower in there, it will work.
I used a flower stamp from Flourishes (I just had to have it, but it was just sitting in my drawer forgotten and neglected) and my new butterfly dies (I'm in love with these cuties, so you'll probably see more of them). Image was colored with Copics and the patterned paper is from SU. My mom is always complaining that I don't think about her enough, so I decided that this year I'll send her a card every month - this one will be for her.

Challenges:
One Crazy Stamper - for mom
Stamp and Create - one for the ladies
Hotshot Crafts - die cuts
Southern Girls Challenge - die cuts

Flourishes June New Release Challenges

Flourishes are having another fabulous release and with it a couple of challenges I couldn't resist.
First one is a sketch challenge - nice and easy - I used the lighthouse image from Flourishes Guiding Light set, but since it's more a landscape image I flipped the sketch. Image was watercolored with SU inks and the background panel was made using Melted Crayon technique.

The second challenge is called Pretty in Pink and as you probably guessed, participants need to use shades of pink. I didn't feel like coloring this morning, so I thought paper piecing would work instead. I found this cute little paper pack from K&Co, where all papers are pink so I thought it would work for this challenge. Can't get any more pinker ;)
Both image and sentiment stamps are from Flourishes set Coffee with Friends. It was one of the first Flourishes sets I had and I should really use it more often. I kept the layout simple, just added rhinestone flourishes for extra girly-ness. What do you think?

Antique Map for Father's Day

I finally managed to ink up my new Antique Map stamp from Flourishes and here is what I came up with.
The image is stamp with Versamark on watercolor paper and embossed with copper EP. I colored it with water based inks and aquapainter. The sentiment is from another Flourishes set - Guiding Light. The CS is More Mustard from SU anf the brads are from Basic Grey.
I'm entering it into the following challenges:
Crafty Catz - embossing
Oh, Alice - inspiration - I was inspired by colors - blue and brown
Secret Crafter - quote
Crafts and Me - friends and family (father)
