"Can't live without" scrapbook layout by Louise - March pet challenge

Hi Crafters

to share a new scrapbook layout "Can't live without"

This page is my inspiration piece for the March challenge.

Image may contain: dog and text

So far for 2018 I've been focusing on stash busting.
I love a challenge with a theme, because you can use what you have available.

This collection from Simple Stories was one of my favs a few years back so I dug it out and got creating.

I've teamed it with the
I've given it a light coat of Distress Ink so that it has a two tone effect, with the raw chipboard showing through.

Nrmally I would never put brown, red and yellow together but the collection combined those colours, so I figured "Why not?"

Summer Family Fun by Anne

Hi everyone!
This is  my first post with A2Z Scraplets. I’m very excited and proud to be a member of the design team using this great chipboard.  Today I would like to  share with you my layout for this month's challenge. I’m sure you can tell I  just love the summer bright colors from this month’s mood board.
The background to  my layout was made with a  splattering of  acrylic paint in bright colors.

I used the chipboard word Family as my title and gave it a coating with  purple acrylic paint. I then splattered the chipboard with orange and lime green acrylic paint before finishing with a coating of Glossy Accents.

Along with cardstock die cuts and colored gauze I added a couple of wood veneer pieces, faceted rhinestones and sequins to add bling to my already bright page.

Hope your Summer is just as bright!
Thanks for stopping by!

"Bubbles" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Here is a new layout "Bubbles"

I adore this chipboard!
I had the perfect photos - just waiting to be scrapped.
You can find the A2Z Scraplets "Bubbles" word here.
I've given it a coat of white gesso then coloured with Distress Crayons.
Once dry - I've used black marker to highlight the word.

For my background I've used acrylic paint and Colour Blast paste Steel
I've added some light embellishments with flair buttons, wood veneer and stickers.

Thanks for visiting.

"Zoom" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

I'm sharing a new layout titled "Zoom"

I started this layout with the
which I've treated with a coat of gesso followed by gold acrylic paint.
I also mounted it on the patterned paper to help it lift off the page!

Papers and elements on this page are from Kitaholic Kit Club and include the patterned papers, flair, thickers and embellishments.

I started this page by creating as I normally would - patterned background paper with layers.
I decided it was looking a little bit like everything else I create so tilted it on an angle - trimmed the background, mounted on white card and added some machine stitching.

I just love how this one turned out. So simple and easy but really different!

"Sparkle" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

I'm sharing a new layout
"Sparkle"

I chose this fabulous chipboard from the
Shine, Sparkle, Happy collection.

This chipboard got a treatment of Nuvo embossing powder and while it was still warm, I curved the chipboard so it would bend around the top of the doily.

Other elements on this page include acrylic paint background and stamping and heat embossing with the same powder. Some small floral embellishments and black ink splatters to finish.

Thanks for visiting.

"The Sweet Life" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Louise here of TimelessCraftMumma
Today I'm sharing a layout that uses chipboard with a twist!

"The Sweet Life"

For this layout I've started with gold acrylic paint and black distress crayon.

I've painted my chipboard with the gold acrylic paint and removed it from the outer chipboard.

Keeping the outer chipboard, I've used it as a stencil.
Using black pen I've traced inside the sun's onto the background of the layout.

This is such a versatile chipboard and would suit so many layouts.

You can find it here

"Moments" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise here of Timeless Craft Mumma
sharing a layout entitled "Moments"

I've used words from the
set and treated it with a layer of gesso, black acrylic paint
and then yellow embossing powder.

The background is more black acrylic paint and yellow shimmer watercolour.
While the photos were important to this layout, the story was my focus.

Thanks for visiting.
