"The Sweet Life" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Louise here of TimelessCraftMumma
Today I'm sharing a layout that uses chipboard with a twist!

"The Sweet Life"

For this layout I've started with gold acrylic paint and black distress crayon.

I've painted my chipboard with the gold acrylic paint and removed it from the outer chipboard.

Keeping the outer chipboard, I've used it as a stencil.
Using black pen I've traced inside the sun's onto the background of the layout.

This is such a versatile chipboard and would suit so many layouts.

You can find it here

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

A photo is a moment captured ...

How true is that!

Hi, Deb here with you today. Over the holidays I've managed to scrap a few pages which is nice. This page is of my daughter ready for her first formal in Year 9.

I made the background paper using watercolour paper and mists. Once dry, I then went over it with our Honeycomb Stencil by simply tracing the shapes randomly over the page.

The chipboard title 'A photo is a moment captured' is coloured using a gold paint pen for a rich and definite gold colour.

Another closeup showing the chipboard, paper and stencilled background.

Little bits of bling everywhere.

Materials used:
A2Z Scraplets
Doilies from various sources
Petaloo flowers
Sequins
Gel pens
Colour sprays
3D stickers

Until next time
Happy Scrapping

Everyone has their own little Bat Girl ..... don't they?

Hi Deb here with you today.

Sometimes you just get that one person/furbaby in your family that screams out 'scrap me'. I'm lucky, I have a few!

I love the freedom of expression this child has and embrace the individuality she exudes. This photo is kinder dress up day and she chose to go as Bat Girl.

The title for this page is cut in our new product - Ebony Card. There are a number of designs available in this from card sized words to page titles. I love it for a crisp black element on the project. I cut the word in two and simply outlined it with a gold paint pen.

I used a piece of Birds on barb wire which I also cut apart.

I colored a frame black and tucked it in under the corner of the photo to give it a bit of dimension.

Material used:
Gold Card
Impasto
DCWV Papers - Tattered time
TH ticket
Punch

Until Next Time
