Circuit Court of Richmond city

--Judge Meredith presiding.--William Hammell alias William Harman, a convict in the penitentiary, charged with felony, was tried by a jury, found guilty, and sentenced to one year's additional confinement, to commence at the end of term for which he is now incarcerated, one-twelfth of the time to be solitary confinement.

Julius Desplauques, also a convict, charged with felony, was likewise tried and convicted, and a similar verdict rendered in his case as in that of Hammell alias Harman.

William McDonald, a convict, was then brought before the Court, charged with felony, and after a full licaring acquitted of the charge.

Civil business of no public interest was also transacted.
