--This article, that used to be dear at 28 cents per gallon, is now selling at $10 a $14 per gallon by the barrel. None is disposed of except on the order of the Provost Marshal. The fact that any such liquor can be disposed of at the prices named above shows clearly that the people either need stimulants or fancy they do, to the detriment of their pecuniary resources.
