The Maryland Volunteers.
--The good work commenced last night, by some of our amateur musicians, in behalf of the families of the Richmond volunteers, will be continued Thursday night, at the United Presbyterian Church, for the benefit of the Maryland soldiers. We hope it will prove amply successful. That the concert will be attractive can be attested by all who attended last night, and even if it were not so, the dollar or two invested would not be thrown away. These are times which call for frequent contributions, and it is the duty, as it ought to be the pleasure, of those who have an abundance to share with those who have none. We hope a third concert will be given for the benefit of the brave Northwestern boys who fought at Alleghany Mountain.
