I ordered what I always order ... a Chicken Medianoche (achiote chicken thigh, tomato and chipotle mayo) and rice & beans. It was yummy as usual! I got the rice & beans in a to-go container as I knew I'd be taking some home.

Gord and I had lunch this afternoon at La Cubana (on Ossington Avenue, just north of Queen Street W).
Gord wanted a Pressed Cubano but they had none of the buns so ordered a Cubano Medianoche instead (Ham, Pork, Gruyere, Red Onion, Cornichon, Grainy Mustard and Chipotle Mayo).
We shared an order of rice and beans.
All were very good!

I had a late lunch this afternoon at La Cubana (on Ossington Avenue, just north of Queen Street W).
I ordered a Chicken Medianoche (achiote chicken thigh, avocado, tomato and chipotle mayo but without avocado) and swapped the fries or salad for rice and beans ... I've had it there before. It was good!
My cerveza was fun! |

Gord and I had supper this evening at La Cubana (on Ossington Avenue, just north of Queen Street W).
Gord ordered with a mojito and I had a Cuba Libre, which were tasty. My second Cuba Libre had a lot of lemon juice, though, so I kept diluting it with Coke.

Gord and I had a late lunch at La Cubana (on Ossington Avenue, just north of Queen Street W) this afternoon. It's been there for about three years and I've walked by it about a million times but I've never stopped in.
We sat in a booth in the front |
