The Bristol, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are on vacation 'til January 5.  My vacation started as of 5pm yesterday and Gord's started as of 2pm today.  We went for some Christmas cheer this evening at The Bristol, which is in our 'hood (most restaurants/pubs in our 'hood were closed).

Others had the same idea.

After Gord and I saw The Container, we had supper just around the corner at The Bristol ... we'd been there in June for brunch and enjoyed it.

I ordered the Viceroy with chicken.

The Bristol recently opened in our 'hood where the Samuel J. Moore used to be ... it is a revamp of the recently closed Bristol Yard.

Gord and I checked it out this morning for brunch.

They have a good reputation for brunch and we figured it would be busy so we got there about 11:15am.

There's an ATM in the police box

I don't drink coffee but Gord does ... that was a big cup of coffee and Gord said it was good!
