To celebrate the 50 years of Asterix ... and Obelix, the Place de la Concorde (see previous posts) has got some temporary special decoration. The Egyptian obelisk has been completed (fortunately not replaced) by a French version, a menhir.
There is more of Asterix and his friends to be seen at seven other strategic points in Paris, but it was raining....
A new album was just published: “Asterix and Obelix’s Birthday – The Golden Book”.
