Eyeliner Experiment

I'm out of eyeliner practice.
Luckily, playing around with a shape like this makes for a great exercise, and I ended up being quite happy with the way the look turned out :)

The Red Shoes tutorial

This is such an old look that I never got around to posting - probably mostly because the pictures are quite terrible.

However, I really wanted to share the look since I love the makeup itself.
Inspired by The Red Shoes, which you should absolutely watch if you haven't ;)

Back to Black

After taking a bit of a hiatus from the whole blogging/YouTube/Twitter world, I'm back with a new FOTD.
I've got tons of other things I want to try/write about but we'll see how that goes ;)

Classic, black smokey eye

I've been wanting to do a video on a basic, black smokey eye for a while, so when I finally(!) sat down to do a tutorial yesterday, that was what I wanted to do :)

Evil Eye

This look is basically just me playing around with the Evil Eye palette from the MAC Me Over! collection - hope you like it ;)

The things in the collection that stood out to me the most were definitely the blue and green fluidlines, but that's mostly because I'm pretty obsessed with fluidlines in general and don't have anything that looks like those two ;)

Overall, I do think MAC Me Over! is a really nice collection with something for everyone :)

We had a super fun MAC Me Over! event at the counter I work at and I got to do makeup on some lovely girls:) We took polaroid pictures of all the people we made over and put them on a big MAC Me Over! wall and I think it looked pretty awesome! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to post on here :/

Wohooo, a new POST!

I don't really have any excuses for not posting other than being away on vacation for three weeks and just being busy in general for what seems like forever.
I had so many exciting things I wanted to post over the summer but I'm already back at the university. Wow. I really wish I had more than 24 hours a day! ;)

Happy New Year! + NYE makeup

I hope everyone had a great and safe New Year's Eve!

I don't usually get the whole concept of New Year's eve parties though. It's like everyone thinks that that party is going to be the most amazing one of the year, but it rarely turns out to be like that when you have such high expectations.
Sure, NYE is a great opportunity to dress up in way over-the-top glittery clothes and makeup without anyone thinking it's weird, but I wear makeup and clothes like that a lot on normal days as well, haha :)
I think every Friday and Saturday night have the potential to be just as good a party as NYE could ever be and I wish people would remember that, 'cus that would mean a lot more great parties throughout the year! ;)

That being said, I did have a great time! I spent the night with three of my lovely coworkers from MAC :) We had some great food and a lot of great things to drink, and we had an awesome little party all by ourselves, haha! Even though it wasn't a huge party, it was one of the best New Year's eves I've ever had :)

And with all the rambling aside, here is my NYE makeup!
I was in a hurry when I took these pictures, so they're not the best, but I hope you'll like them anyway :)

Dramatic Style Black look + tutorial

As I say in the video, I know that black lips is not for everyone, but I really love them and even wear them out! Wow, an easy way to get attention on the street, haha! :)

NikkieTutorials on youtube has a contest going on where you have to do both a mask and a "different" smokey eye.

I've never done a contest entry before, but it was fun! It was a great way to get inspired and do something different than usual. It's been forever since I've done a mask!

Pin up look - with an edge

I know this look is very similar to the pin-up look I posted but I did this look for work and really wanted to share :)

Notice the cheekbone hightlight? This was my first time using Pearl CCB to highlight and I really like it! Yay :) It looks like it's not blended properly with the blush though...Hmm... It looked fine IRL :/

An update - finally!

I haven't updated in more than a month :/ I've been busy partying since school is over and I've had my first three exams as well!

This look was kinda an experiment to see if glitter would stick and last if I put it on top of a liquidlast liner. I put the glitter on while the liner was still sticky and it worked perfectly and lasted all night! :)

Les Lanciers

In Denmark we have a tradition of dancing a dance called "Les Lanciers" when we're seniors in high school. That's what I am now and the dance was on Friday :)
