favoritos del mes de enero

Un mes más os dejo una pequeña recesión de los tres productos favoritos del mes pasado. En esta ocasión os dejo una crema fabulosa, un rojo de labios infalible y un producto capilar ideal para estar siempre perfecta.

Here I am with my review of my three favorite beauty products of January. This time I bring a fabulous body cream, a long lasting red lipstick and a hair product that will help you to be always perfect.

DELUXE HAND & BODY CREAM WITH ALOE VERA, OUTMEAL & CORIANDER de KHIEL'S: Khiel's es una marca de cosmética que me encanta. Tiene un "no se que" de aire de antiguo producto farmacéutico que me da confianza y en general sus productos nunca me defraudan. Yo que sufro de una piel seca casi "indomable" me he vuelto casi adicta a esta crema hidratante para manos y cuerpo al cilantro. La uso preferentemente para las manos y también para las piernas (que en invierno tengo especialmente secas). Es una crema muy ligera, muy fácil de aplicar y se absorbe rápidamente. El efecto hidratante gracias al aloe vera y a la avena es prácticamente inmediato y deja una agradable sensación de comfort. Tema aparte es su perfume. A mi me parece increíblemente sugerente. Es fresco y con un punto herbal. Mi hermana que a veces la utiliza cuando vamos al gimnasio también adora su perfume, pero ya advierto a las personas poco acostumbradas a fragancias originales que esta crema tiene un perfume poco frecuente. Si tuviera que encontrarle un defecto sería su precio ya que una botella de 250ml ronda los 22 euros.

DELUXE HAND & BODY CREAM WITH ALOE VERA, OUTMEAL & CORIANDER by KHIEL'S: Khiel's is one of my favorite brands. Their products remind me of those of an old  pharmacy and I trust them very much. Because my skin is very, very dry I'm a kind of "moisturizer-holic" and I try a lot of them. For the last month I've been addicted to this hand and body cream with aloe vera, oatmeal and coriander. I use it on my hands and legs and its ingredients inmediately create a nice comforting feeling. It is a very light cream, easy to apply and  is quickly absorbed. But let's talk about its fragance. I adore it and I find it very suggestive. My sister, who sometimes uses it after her workout, also loves it but not everybody likes this fresh and herbal aroma. In my oppinion its only drawback is its price: 22 euros for a 250-ml-bottle.

CREAM LIP STAIN de Sephora: Adoro los labiales rojos. Durante años me decanté por tonos nude y tierras hasta que un día probé el rojo pasión… y eso fue exactamente lo que pasó… que me apasioné. La gran Lucia Be ya lo dice… los lunes son menos lunes con labios rojos. Y es que no me preguntéis porqué pero este color me aporta un plus de seguridad y os garantizo que ese extra de color anima la tez más apagada en los meses de invierno. Pero yo soy un auténtico desastre con los labiales y éstos duran muy poco rato en mis labios. Por eso busco siempre labiales de larga duración. Este de Sephora me ha convencido. El color es súper intenso y muy luminoso aunque se trata de un labial mate. Resiste una barbaridad y te permite ir perfecta durante un montón de horas sin retoques. Como todos los productos de este tipo tiende a resecar un poco los labios, por eso aconsejo que los días en los que lo utilizéis hidratéis muy ,muy bien los labios después de desmaquillarlos. Ahhh y además tiene un precio estupendo.

CREAM LIP STAIN by Sephora: I love red lipsticks. I used nude colors for ages but one day I discovered the color passion red and that's exactly what happened: I developed a passion for red lipsticks. The great Lucia B says "Monday is less Monday when you wear red lipstick". Don't ask me why but this color gives me extra confidence and I can assure you that it helps to illuminate the greyest faces ever. I'm a disaster with lipstick and it always lasts very little on my lips. That's why I'm always looking for long-lasting products. This lipstick by Sephora is fantastic because the color is very bright and intense and it lasts for hours. The only thing is that, like most  long-lasting lipsticks, it tends to dry your lips, so you have to mosturize  them very well after removing it.

HAIR TOUCH UP de L'Oréal: Descubrí este producto por casualidad durante una de mis  visitas a la peluquería y debo deciros que cuando supe que existía elevé la vista al cielo y di gracias al Altísimo por haber escuchado mis súplicas, ya que hacía mucho tiempo que esperaba que llegara un producto como éste. Se trata de un spray para retoques de color. Hace años que llevo el cabello muy liso. Si unimos ésto al hecho de que el color de mi cabello es castaño muy oscuro podréis imaginar fácilmente que las canas destacan muchísimo. Suelo ser muy cuidadosa con el calendario de tintes y lo aplico cada tres semanas. Pero siempre hay un día en el que no lo llevas el color perfecto pero aun no tienes cita con la pelu y tienes una cena o una cita importante. Y yo con esos pelos? nooooo! Con este mini-sprai es fácil retocar las raíces. Cubre bien las canas y se elimina con agua.

HAIR TOUCH UP by L'Oréal:  I discovered this product by chance in one of my visits to the hairdresser. I must confess that when I found out that this product existed I turned my eyes to the heavensand I thank the Lord because he had listened to my prayers. I've been waiting for this product for ages. It is a root concealer. My hair is very straight and dark, so grey hairs show very much. I'm very careful with my hair-dying calendar and I try to go to the hairdresser every three weeks. But sometimes I have a dinner or a special date and I'm not able able to go to the hairdresser. Ok... don't panic! With Hair Touch Up you can easily conceal the roots and it fades with just one shampoo.

Bufffff Noviembre ya ha pasado. Tempus Fugit amigos! En nada estaremos comprando regalos y cocinando  como locos medio de la vorágine navideña. Y con cada final de mes llega mi selección de tres productos de belleza preferidos del último més. Aquí los tenéis.

Oh my God! November is over! "Tempus Fugit" my friends! In a couple of weeks we'll be shopping and cooking as if there was no tomorrow infected with the "Christmas Fever". Once more with  I bring you my three end-of-the-month favorite beauty products.

Gel-Espuma de ducha Hammam Delight de Rituals. No es la primera vez que traigo productos de Rituals a esta sección pero es que tienen varias líneas que me gustan muchísimo. En el mes de octubre empecé a ir al gimnasio (y esta vez no sólo hago de mecenas del "Sr. DIR" sino que además estoy yendo de 2 a 3 veces por semana… en mi caso todo un récord) Os cuento todo esto porque el mayor placer tras una sesión de spinning llega con la ducha con esta espuma gel de Rituals con aromas de eucalipto y romero. Realmente da la impresión de estar en un Hammam o un Spa. Es súper hidratante y muy balsámico por las hierbas que contiene. Me encanta!

Foaming shower gel Hammam Delight by Rituals. It's not the first time that I write about products by Rituals on my blog. I love most of their products. I started  going to the gym in October… and this time I'm not only paying I'm also actually going 2-3 times per week…For me it's a record) I'm telling  you all of this because the best moment after a hard session of spinning is to take a shower with this wonderful foaming shower gel with eucalyptus and rosemary. You feel like you are in a spa. It is super moisturizing and balsamic. I love it!

Ureadin Spray& Go de Laboratorios Isdin: Cuando llegan los meses de frío la piel pide un extra de hidratación. Yo si después de la ducha no me hidrato bien parezco el hombre de hojalata del Mago de Oz. El problema en invierno es vestirse automáticamente después. No se si os habéis observado a vosotras mismas intentando poneros las medias después de la crema hidratante pero en mi caso empiezo una sesión de contorneo que parezco una artista del Cirque du Soleil. Con Este Spray and Go de Isdin se acabó el problema. Es súper-rápido de usar al ser un spray, hidrata de forma inmediata a base de Urea  (y con la garantía de los laboratorios Isdin) y se absorbe rápidamente. Todo un invento! Se vende en Farmacias.

Ureadin Spray&Go by Laboratories Isdin: When it's cold our skin needs an extra dose of hydration. If I don't use a moisturizing cream after the shower I'm look like the Tin Woodsman of the Wizard of Oz. But it's very difficult to dress after using the cream, isn't it? Have you ever tried to put on you tights after using cream on your legs? Oh my God! I start to contort myself as an artist from the Cirque du Soleil. With this new Spray by Isdin all these problems are over. You can apply it in seconds,  it's immediately absorbed and it hydrates all day. Woow!

Capricho Floral - Locura de Azahar de Victorio y Lucchino: Esta es una de esas fragancias que para mi lo tiene todo. BBB (buena, bonita, barata). Se trata de Locura de Azahar de Victorio y Lucchino.  Que no os asuste la firma de los famosos modistos sevillanos. No se trata en absoluto de una fragancia cara. De hecho la encontraréis fácilmente en supermercados. Sus notas florales de azahar son lo suficientemente intensas para que se note y lo suficientemente delicadas para que deje un suave olor a  fresco y limpio con un toque romántico.

Capricho Floral - Locura de Azahar by Victorio y Lucchino: This perfume is a real good deal. Don't be afraid of the name of the two famous designers who it's named for. It is really inexpensive (actually you can purchase it in many supermarkets) but its aroma is delicious. The floral notes of the orange blossom are intense enough to be noticed but delicate enough to leave a soft and fresh aroma with a touch of the romantic.

Mis tres productos favoritos del mes de Octubre

Pasados los meses de calor apetece de nuevo prestar una mayor atención al maquillaje. La verdad es que en verano con esos calores no es plan de maquillarse en execeso si no queremos terminar la jornada con el maquillaje totalmente desaparecido.

Ahora con la llegada del otoño vuelvo a maquillar más mis ojos y aquí os dejo tres de mis productos favoritos para esta zona.

After the heat of the summer I'm interested in make up again. I don't like making up very much in summer because of high temperatures. The heat and the sweat usually ruin the make up so it's better to use lighter make up.

When autum arrives I use makeup again and these are three of my favorites for the eye area.

CONTORNO DE OJOS BIOCURA: Este producto ha sido todo un descubrimiento. Hace poco encontré este contorno de ojos en los supermecados Aldi y me convenció por varios motivos. El primero de todos es que todos los ingredientes que contiene son vegetales y de origen biológico y renuncian a los aromas, colorantes y conservantes sintéticos. Por todo ello ha merecido ser identificado con el símbolo Natrue. Tiene dos líneas: la de espino amarillo para piel normal y otro con camomila y aloe vera para piel madura. Es un tubito de 15 ml con una boquilla fina que permite controlar bien la dosificación del producto. La crema es tirando a espesa pero se extiende y se absorve con facilidad. Por el momento es mi contorno de ojos de cabecera y además no es nada cara. Es de fabricación alemana y sólo puede adquirirse en los supermercados Aldi.

EYE CONTOUR CREAM BY BIOCURA: This cream has been a real find. I found this eye contour cream at Aldi and it  won me over inmediately for several reasons. The first one is that all its ingredients are of plant origin from biologic agriculture and they don't use synthetic aromas, preservatives or dyes. That's the reason this product won the "Natrue" seal. You can choose between two kinds: one with buckthorn for regular skin and the another with camomile and aloe for mature skin. It comes in a 15 ml tube and it has a small nozzle for optimal control. The cream is a bit thick but it is easily absorbed. This is an excellent and inexpensive product made in Germany which you can only purchase at Aldi supermarkets.

EYEBROW DESIGNER - GEL MASCARA de KIKO:  Este es uno de los productos estrella de KIKO. Se trata de un gel fijador que al peinar las cejas con él  una vez utilizado el lápiz de cejas las fija y las deja perfectas todo el día. Es efectivo, muy fácil de aplicar y con un precio estupendo. Este es uno de mis productos favoritos ya no del mes de octubre sino de todo el año.

EYEBROW DESIGNER - GEL MASCARA by KIKO: This is one of the most famous products by Kiko, It 's a fixer gel for eyebrows that you can use after using your eyebrow pencil. It designs and fixes the shape and color of your eyebrows for the entire day. It is very effective and easy to use and it is well-priced. This is one of my favorite products ever.

NAKED PALETTE de URBAN DECAY:  Con la llegada del otoño vuelvo poco a poco a los tonos rosados, tostados y marrones en el maquillaje y para ello nada mejor que recurrir a la Naked palette de Urban Decay. Además de la Naked Palette original Urban Decay lanzó también la Naked 2 y la Naked 3 pero para mi la Naked original ha sido siempre la paleta de colores tostados por excelencia y es la que más me gusta. Sus tonos son super llevables y quedan perfectos tanto tomados de uno a uno como combinados entre si.

NAKED PALETTE by URBAN DECAY: I like to use pink and toast colors in autumn and for me the best palette is the Naked Palette by Urban Decay. I love it. Urban Decay also launched the Naked 2 and 3 but for me this has been always the best. Its colors are very wearable each on their own or by combining all them together.

Mis tres productos favoritos del mes de Septiembre

Septiembre siempre me ha parecido un mes de impasse. Ni mucho calor, ni pleno otoño.  Un ni fu ni fa que precede a los meses de otoño que no me gustan nada de nada. Y en cuanto a productos pues  ni productos de playa, ni colores otoñales. Mis productos favoritos son más bien de "recuperación" después de los estragos veraniegos. Aquí tenéis mis tres productos favoritos del mes de Septiembre.

September is a month that there is neither here nor there. Neither summer temperatures nor autumn temperatures. In regards to beauty products neither products for the beach nor autumn colors for make-up. In general my favorite beauty products in September are products that help to recover my skin from the ravages of the summer. These are the three favorites of September.

BAIN SOIN ONGLES & CUTICULES (Sephora). Este producto es todo un descubrimiento. Las que os pintáis mucho las uñas sabéis por experiencia lo mucho que se estropean ya no sólo las uñas sino también las cutículas. Se resecan muchísimo y acaban feas y quebradizas. Bien pues, Sephora tiene un producto fantástico destinado a mantener uñas y cutículas bien hidratadas gracias al aceite de camelia. Dentro del frasquito que véis hay una espuma impregnada de este aceite y otros productos hidratantes y nutritivos. Basta con introducir y hacer girar el dedo en la espuma durante unos segundos y listo. Y lo mejor… se puede hacer también con las uñas lacadas. Unos instantes cada noche y vuestras uñas estarán perfectas.

INSTANT NAIL & CUTICLE CARE (Sephora). This product is a real find. Poor things… lacquer after lacquer our nails and cuticles are dry and brittle. Well, this product by Sephora moisturizes and nourishes nails and cuticles in a single action. Inside this little jar there is a sponge soaked in camellia oil and other nourishing ingredients. You only have to put the finger inside this sponge and rotate it for a few seconds and your nails and cuticles will be ready. And best of all is that you can do this when your nails are lacquered. It will take you only a few seconds and your nails will be perfect.

LAIT HYDRATANT PEUX TRÈS SÈCHES (Petit Marsellais). Ya os he comentado un montón de veces que tengo una piel sequísima. Y después de la playa y el verano buffffff ni os cuento. Por eso pruebo todas la cremas hidratantes y body milks que me voy encontrando aquí y allá. Este verano compré en Francia (no estoy muy segura de si concretamente este producto puede adquirirse en España) esta leche hidratante de Petit Marsellais con Karité, aceite esencial de camomila y leche de higos. No puede gustarme más. HIDRATA con mayúsculas. Deja la piel muy elástica, uniforme y huele tan bien que a veces me la comería.

LAIT HYDRATANT PEUX TRÈS SÈCHES (Petit Marsellais). You know, because it's not the first time that I say it here on my blog,  that my skin is extra-dry. That's why I buy all the  moisturizers  I find. Last summer I bought this one in France. I'm not sure if it can be purchased here in Spain. I love it!!!! It MOISTURIZES in capital letters. Your skin will be elastic and uniform and its perfume is so good that sometimes I am tempted to eat it.

PENCIL LIP GLOSS (Kiko). El tiempo de los colores rosa flúor o anaranjados y poco a poco voy regresando a colores más neutros. Uno de los productos de Kiko que más me gusta es su colección de labiales gloss en lápiz. Muy, muy cremosos, el color se extiende muy bien. no resecan, no es pegajoso  y tienen una durabilidad muy buena. Si además tienes en cuenta de que cuestan poco más de tres euros para mi son un producto 10.

PENCIL LIP GLOSS (Kiko).  It's time to give up fluorescent colors and little by little I come back to neutral colors. One of my favourite Kiko product is this pencil lip gloss. I like its buttery texture, it glides on the lips easily, it doesn't' dry the lips,  it's not sticky at all and it is very durable. All this for less than four euros. Woow!

Agosto es el mes del relax y de las vacaciones y por lo tanto también de horas de playa y sol. Me encanta la playa pero durante esos meses hay que tener un cuidado especial con la piel y el cabello. Por eso los tres productos preferidos de agosto son éstos:

HAWAIIAN TROPIC COCONUT & MANGO OIL: Además de tener un perfume delicioso a base de coco y mango que transporta inmediatamentea tu mente escenas de playa, este aceite seco protector de Hawaiian Tropic es muy fácil de aplicar y de extender, deja una piel muy suave y además es resistente al agua. Está disponible en diversos índices de protección.

HAWAIIAN TROPIC COCONUT & MANGO OIL: It  has not only a wonderful aroma of coconut and mango, which makes your mind travel to the beach, but also moisturizes and protects your skin from the sun. This dry oil by Hawaiian Tropic is very easy to apply and is water resistant. It is available in different sun protection factors.

PHYTOKÉRATINE EXTRÊME SHAMPOO DE PHYTO: Este champú a base de Keratina vegetal, , aceite de baobab y manteca de zapote es ideal para cabellos secos, débiles y muy castigados. Me pareció perfecto para los meses de verano y poder así reparar los estragos del sol y el mar. Se vende en farmacias y parafarmacias y aunque su precio es bastante elevado el resultado es estupendo. Posee un perfume agradable y delicado y no contiene sulfatos ni siliconas. Tras su uso notaréis vuestro cabello muy hidratado, flexible y brillante.

PHYTOKÉRATINE EXTRÊME SHAMPOO BY PHYTO: The ingredients in this shampoo are vegetal keratin,  baobab oil and zapote butter and all of them help to keep weakened and damaged hair in perfect condition. That's why I thought it was the right shampoo for the beach season. You can purchase it in pharmacies and although it is a bit expensive the results are worth it. Its perfume is very nice and delicate and it is sulfate-free and silicon-free. After using it your hair will look moisturized, flexible and very shiny.

MASCARILLA LISO KERATINA DE TRESemmé: Si el anterior producto que os presentaba pecaba de un poco caro, con este no tendréis ningún problema con su precio porque es de TRESemmé, que como sabéis ofrecen productos de peluquería a bajo precio y se compra en el supermercado. Nunca antes había utilizado productos de esta marca. No me preguntéis porqué pero son unos productos que a priori no me inspiraban demasiado. Pues bien, concretamente este producto me ha gustado mucho. No es caro y al contener menos sulfatos consigue que la keratina penetre mejor en el cabello de modo que  lo suaviza muchísimo, elimina encrespado y además no deja sensación de peso.

MASCARILLA LISO KERATINA BY TRESemmé: The previous product was expensive but you won't have any problem with the price of this one because it is a TRESemmé product and, as you know, they offer a wide range of hair products at great prices and you can purchase them at the supermarket. It's my first time with TRESemmé products. Don't ask me why, but I 've never been keen on their  products. Well, now I can say that I love this intensive conditoner with keratin. It doesn't contain sulfates and this allows a better penetration of the keratin in hair fibers and you will not  feel you hair heavy.

This is the last "my favorite ones" before holidays. These are my three favorite beauty product of the last month.

NAIL LACQUER POWER PRO DE KIKO nº 10 IBISCUS RED: suelo comprar muchos esmaltes de Kiko porque tienen una gran variedad de colores, su calidad es muy correcta y son muy económicos. Pero su nueva colección Power Pro me encanta!!!!!!!!!! Está enriquecida con aceite de pistaria para nutrir la uña y se ha diseñado para conseguir una máxima adherencia y una larga durabilidad. Además los colores son estupendos. Concretamente han lanzado una gama de 45 colores y mi favorito sin duda es el número 10 (Ibiscus Red que véis en la foto) que ahora en verano me pongo una y otra vez porque queda genial con la piel un poco bronceada.

NAIL LACQUER POWER PRO BY KIKO nº 10 IBISCUS RED: I usually buy Kiko's nail lacquers because they offer a wide range of colors, its quality is correct and they aren't expensive at all. And now the have launched a new generation of nail lacquers: the Power Pro line. I love it! They are enriched with pistaria oil to nourish the nails and they've been created to better adhere to the nails and so to be a long-lasting product. The colors are gorgeous and between the 45 available colors my choice is the nº10 (Ibiscus Red, which is the one you can see in the picture). During the summertime I'm using it all the time because it looks perfect with tanned skin.

CREME BLUSH DE YVES SAINT LAURENT: Como tengo la piel muy seca en general suelo preferir los coloretes en crema en lugar de en polvo porque suelen ser más cremosos y aportan un toque de jugosidad extra a la piel que no consigues con los otros. He probado muchos y mi favorito sin duda es el Cream Blush de Yves Saint Laurent. Tiene una textura suuuuuper sedosa que deja en la piel un acabado aterciopelado fabuloso. Su precio es algo elevado (más de 30 euros) pero la calidad del producto y el resultado final lo valen.

CREME BLUSH BY YVES SAINT LAURENT: My skin is very dry and I usually choose cream blushes instead of powder ones because they are creamier and give an extra of juiciness to the skin that you'll hardly get with a powder blush. I've tried a lot of cream blush and definitely my favorite one is this by Yves Saint Laurent. It has a wonderful silky texture which provides a velvety effect. It's quite expensive (more than 30 euros) but the high quality of the product and the final results are worth it.

BODY SPRAY TE VERDE FRESCO DE DELIPLUS: Me encanta el aroma de té verde. Es fresco y afrutado y deja un agradable olor a limpio. Desde hace años en los meses de verano soy "adicta" al body spray de Deliplus al té verde. Hay otras tres perfumaciones pero ésta es sin duda mi favorita. NO se trata de una colonia o un perfume si no de un agua perfumada. Así pues es  apta para refrescar a la vez que perfuma y se puede utilizar generosamente en todo el cuerpo. A pesar de lo que muchos podáis estar pensando su aroma perdura bastante (teniendo siempre en cuenta de que se trata de un body spray) y además tiene un precio estupendo. Son 200ml y creo que no llega a 3,- euros.

BODY SPRAY TE VERDE FRESCO BY DELIPLUS: I love the green tea aroma. It's fresh, fruity and leaves a pleasant clean smell. During the summertime I'm addicted to the green tea body spray by Deliplus. They offer other 3 aromas but this is certainly my favorite. It is not a perfume… it's a scented water so it's perfect to cool while perfumes and you can use it generously in troughout the body. Most of you may think that the perfume runs out quickly. Nope! It lasts a long time (remember that it's only a body spray, so please, don't expect a miracle) and it has a very good price… 200ml for less that 3 euros.

Dicen que una de las mejores cosas que se puede hacer cuando se deja de fumar es hacerlo público para que, de este modo, la presión de tu entorno no te permita volver a coger un pitillo.

Yo con el running hago lo mismo aquí y ahora.  Necesito cierta presión de mi entorno para no dejarlo a la primer de turno.Hace poco os presenté el libro "running para corredoras" (AQUI) y hace una semana empecé el programa de entrenamiento y lo llevo a rajatabla y mi intención es seguir así hasta conseguir correr de forma habitual. Correr... pero  no para ponerme grandes metas ni ganar carreras, sino por vencer mi pereza e imponer mi voluntad sobre mi cuerpo y disciplinarlo.

Porque...

... no me gusta correr... y sin embargo corro!!!

People say that the best thing you can do if you want to give up smoking is to make it public since the pressure of your surroundings won't allow you to have a cigarrete ever again. Well, I'm doing the same with my resolution of starting to run. I need some pressure in order to not  to abandon it. Some weeks ago I showed you the book "Running Para Perezosas" (HERE) and I started the training program one week ago. My only goal is to run often. Nothing else. Only to impose my will tagainst laziness and train my body. 

Only this... since...

I don't like running... and despite this... I run!

MOUSSEL DE LEGRAIN: Seguro que much@s sólo con ver la botella os viene a la mente una melodía pegadiza del "jingle" de un anuncio de televisión de los 70. Me encanta este gel de ducha. Es ya tan vintage que ha conseguido ser un clásico intemporal. Posee un perfume tan agradable y conocido que bajo la ducha me transporta cada día en el espacio y el tiempo. Confieso que no  siempre compro el mismo gel de ducha pero éste me ha acompañado en el mes de febrero  y creo que voy a seguir con él unos cuantos meses más porque simplemente ME ENCANTA!

MOUSSEL BY LEGRAIN: I'm sure that  the catchy jingle of the 70's came to mind after seeing the photo of this product. I love this shower gel. It's so vintage that it's super cool now. It has managed to become a timeless classic. Its perfume is fantastic and it carries me back in space and time while I'm under the shower. I don't always buy  the same shower gel. I bought this one last February and I guess that I will continue with it during the coming months since  I LOVE IT!

L_STRAIGHT BY LAKME: Este que véis es un producto profesional para realizar un tratamiento que  no os podréis hacher en casa. Se trata del kit de productos para realizar un alisado japonés. Febrero es el mes en el que renové mi alisado japonés ( y van muchos desde Noviembre de 2006 en el que lo probé por primera vez). Hay muchas casas comerciales en el mercado que ofrecen este tratamiento pero yo os puedo asegurar que tras casi 9 años mi cabello sigue igual de sano y fuerte como el primer día.

Se compra en farmacias y es mano de santo para labios secos y agrietados y también para la nariz cuando los resfriados aprietan.

LETIBALM BY LABORATORIOS LETI: February is a chilly month and it's usually when people suffer bad colds and dry lips.  This year I also caught the flu, so it was even worse. During the cold months this lip-balm, which is only available at the pharmacy,  is my great ally.

Octubre está  a punto de terminar y vamos a hacer un repaso de los tres productos preferidos de este mes que ha sido más de "Veroño" que de "Otoño" porque el frío se ha resistido a llegar.

October is ending so as usual I'm going to review my three favorite products of the month. One month  that has been more spring-like than autumn because the cold doesn't want to come.

RICE SCRUB DE RITUALS: Soy muy fan de los productos de Rituals. Los utilizo y también los regalo a menudo en cumpleaños o navidad. En este caso probé este scrub a base de leche de arroz orgánico y flor de cerezo porque la revista Glamour lo regalaba con el número de Octubre. Debo decir que me ha gustado… y  mucho. Me ha gustado por su nivel de exfoliación pero también por su perfume delicadísimo. Repetiré seguro.

RICE SCRUB BY RITUALS: I love the products by Rituals. Not only doI use  them but also I usually give them to my friends for their birthdays or Christmas. This time I tried this scrub with organic rice milk and cherry blossom because it was a gift with the October issue of Glamour Magazine. I liked it … I liked it very much. I love its level of exfoliation and its delicate perfume. I will buy it again for sure.

REVITALIFT MAGIC BLUR DE L'OREAL: No sólo de hidratación vive la piel. Así que como una ya va teniendo una edad las anti-arrugas empiezan a tener cada vez más sitio dentro del armario del baño. Esta crema de L'oreal me ha gustado por su textura, perfume y porque actúa dos niveles. Uno inmediato gracias al efecto blur que realiza un efecto óptico que  alisa e ilumina la piel y otro de tratamiento antiarrugas puro y duro.

REVITALIFT MAGIC BLUR BY L'OREAL: My skin not only needs hidratation, but because I'm getting older the anti wrinkle creams are gaining ground in my bathroom. I like this cream by L'Oreal because it works on two levels. The first one acts on the surface creating an optical effect (it illuminates and smoothes the skin), while the other one is a deep anti wrinkle cream.

EFFACERNES - LONGUE TENUE DE LANCÔME: He elegido este anti-ojeras de Lancome como preferido de Octubre pero lo cierto es que podría estar en los favoritos de cualquier mes. ¿Por qué? pues porque hace ya bastantes años que lo utilizo. Atenúa las ojeras, unifica, ilumina, tiene factor 12 de protección solar y necesitas tan poco producto que dura una eternidad. Más que un favorito, un básico en mi neceser.

EFFACERNES - LONGUE TENUE DE LANCÔME: I chose this cream against the dark circles under my eyes as one of my favorites of October but actually I could talk about it every month. Why? Because I've been using it for along time. It reduces dark circles,  brightens the skin and it has a SPF12 . Another positive thing is that you need so little of thisspf product that it will last forever. More that a favorite it is a basic in my beauty bag.

Esta temporada quisiera compartir una vez al mes los productos de cosmética que más me han gustado o  que más he utilizado durante mes anterior. Cada estación tiene sus particularidades: más o menos calor, humedad, frío, viento, polen… y en consecuencia los productos que utilizo varían en función de cada exigencia.

A primeros de cada mes os traeré  la selección de mis tres productos preferidos del mes anterior.

This season I would like to share with you some of my  favorites on beauty and make-up products. Every season of the year has its  particularities and so I change the products I use depending on the heat or cold, the humidity, the pollen etc…

I'll bring my three favorite products every month. 

These are my favorites of last August.

Huile Prodigieuse de Nuxe (París):Desde que mi amiga Lisa me dejó probarlo durante nuestras vacaciones no me lo pensé dos veces y corrí rápidamente comprarlo. Se trata de un aceite seco multifunción enriquecido con vitamina E. Se puede aplicar en rostro, cuerpo y cabello aunque yo lo utilizo exclusivamente para la cara y cuello. Tengo una piel extra-seca y este aceite me da una sensación de confort inmediata sin pringar y se absorbe rápidamente. Ideal para aplicar tras las sesiones de sol. Además tiene un perfume muy, muy, muy  agradable.

Huile Prodigieuse de Nuxe (París):After my friend Lisa let me try this dry-oil by Nuxe, I run to buy it as soon as It was possible. It's a multi-purpose dry oil with Vitamin E that you can use in face, body and hair. Anyway, I only use it in my face. It's suitable for my extra-dry skin. It gives me an immediate relief and it's rapidly absorbed with no greasy feeling. Ahhh and I love its perfume.

Lacas de uñas KIKO:el verano con su luz y el calor es una época propicia para colores locos en las uñas. En invierno soy bastante más convencional y mi paleta suele ir de los tostados a los burdeos pasando por los rojos intensos y poco más. En cambio durante este verano me han acompañado los azules, naranjas y verdes de los esmaltes KIKO. Precio excelente y durabilidad aceptable.

KIKO nail lacquer: summer invites to wear crazy colors in my hands. During winter I  wear more conventional colors. My palette goes from toasted to bordeaux passing by intense reds. But this summer the crazy colors by Kiko have accompanied me. Orange, blue and green nail lacquers with an excellent value for money and an acceptable durability.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hidration SPF30: La verdad es que yo era nada fiel a los filtros solares, no tenía ninguna marca preferida… hasta ahora!! Desde que probé la línea Silk Hidration de Hawaiian Tropic creo que he encontrado mi filtro solar. Ultra hidratante, protege sin crear una capa espesa ni dejar una sensación de grasa. Buena capacidad de protección solar unido a un delicado perfume que al sentirlo me transporta automáticamente a la playa.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hidration SPF30: I've never been faithful to me sunscreen… until now!! Since I discovered this line by Hawaiian Tropic I'm pretty sure I found my ideal sunscreen. It has a high level of moisturization and a good SPF filter but it's a light cream, not thick as others. Ahh and its delicate perfume immediately leads my mind to the beach.

La Maison du Savon de Marseille: aroma a limpio y a jabón

Una de los aromás más deliciosos que pueden respirarse en un hogar (después de los que puedan salir de un puchero o un horno, por supuesto) es el perfume a limpio de una colada.

Ahhhhh el aroma a jabón. Qué maravilla!!!!!! Pocas cosas tan sencillas son tan perfectas.

Hace pocos años las grandes marcas de productos de limpieza recuperaron como por arte de magia el aroma del jabón de Marsella. Vamos a ver señores creativos e inventores de aromas exóticos para detergetes... ¿Tanto tuvieron que pensar y estudiar para reconocer que uno de los perfumes que más ama la gente es el del auténtico jabón? ¿ Y que de entre ellos sobresale por mérito própio el perfume cándido y genuino del Jabón de Marsella?

Durante nuestra escapada provenzal descubrí las tiendas La Maison du savon de Marseille. No lo puede evitar... fue verla (y olerla) y caí en sus redes como Ulises bajo el influjo del canto de las sirenas. AQUÍ os dejo el link a su página web y AQUÍ el de su tienda online.

Compré jabón de Marsella como si no hubiera mañana. El  de aroma clásico, con aceite de oliva y otros perfumados de lavanda  con una esencia tan intensa que perfuma todo el cuarto de baño.

One of the most wonderful frangances that one can expirience at home (besides the sromes leaving a pan or the oven) is the clean smell of laundry.

Ahhhhhhhh the smell of soap! It's fabulous!!!!! Few things as simple are more perfect.

Some years ago, the most important detergent  brands rescued from the past the perfume of Marseille soap for their new products. Lets see...!!!!! To whom it may concern...how long did you have to study and how many studies did you have to pay for to understand that people love soap perfume? And above all the genuine aroma of  Marseille soap.

During our getaway in Provence I discovered the store La Maison du savon de Marseille. I couldn't help it. I was attracted to it as Ulysses under the influence of the  songs of the mermaids. You'll find all the information and its products on this website (HERE) and on its online store (HERE)

I bought Marseille soap as if there was no tomorrow. The classic one, with olive oil or perfumed with  such intense lavender that it perfumes the whole bathroom.

Una tarde con Mary Kay - An afternoon with Mary Kay

Espejito, Espejito...¿quién es la más guapa de reino? Pues mira,  tras una tarde disfrutando y aprendiendo con los productos Mary Kay es casi seguro que la más guapa de de "tu reino" vas a ser tú.

A finales de verano recibí una invitación para asistir a dos sesiones gratuitas con Montse,  una asesora independiente de Mary Kay (la firma americana de cosmética): una para el tratamiento de la piel y otra de automaquillaje.

Montse, que es un amor, me explicó con paciencia tanto los productos como las técnicas y trucos de aplicación. Lo que no voy a recomendaros es ningún producto en particular porque tras las dos sesiones lo que me quedó muy claro es que cada clienta es un mundo que precisa productos distintos. De ahí que sea importante que una asesora te ayude a conocer tu piel y tus necesidades.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all? Well, after two hours enjoying and learning about the products of Mary Kay  I'm pretty sure that the most beautiful "of your kingdom" is going to be you.

At the end of the summer I received an invitation for two free sessions with Montse, a Mary Kay independent beauty consultant: one for a skin treatment and for make-up.

Montse, who's charming, was patiently explaining to me the products, techniques and tips. I'm not goin to recommend any products today, since I've learned that every woman is a whole world and that my needs are not the same as yours. That's why it is so important to be helped by a consultant to know better your skin and its needs.
